Overgrown foliage, flowerless and barren of people. What a disappointing park. While Edens must have been a gem for past generations, this generation squandered it. It appears the city has not cut back the foliage in over 10 years. You can see that under the overpowering vines, wild bushes and weeds, there must have been beautiful trees, parks spaces and trees, things you actually expect to be beautiful in a park. But one can only now imagine. But who is imagining it? Our visit was 2pm on a beautiful Saturday afternoon - nobody was there. Obviously the people of Cincinnati do not see much reason to enjoy this park.

Cincinnati must think more concrete brings more beauty, given the money invested in their Smale Park and The Banks.

Don’t waste your time.

We're from South of the river, and Eden park is our day out in conjunction with visiting the Krohn Conservatory or the Art Museum. I find this one of the nicer parks in Cincinnati.

There always seems to be plenty of parking and the park aways appears to be well maintained. We enjoy the trails and there are plenty of places to stop, sit and just relax.

Our oldest was in town and wanted to see the conservatory. The weekend she visited we had a warm spell we were able to spend some time outdoors in the park as well.

If you're looking for a great place to picnic, hike, bike, take photographs or just get outside to enjoy nature, Eden Park is a great place to go.

Beautiful scenic park in Cincinnati. Home of the excellent Cincinnati Art Museum and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. There are walking trails, gardens and views of the river. Visiting here makes you feel that you are far from the city.

We came across this park when we were visiting Krohn's Conservatory. Nice trails connecting different parts of the park. The ponds at the top of the hill were nice, except for all the duck/goose poo....but it is a duck pond, so you're going to have that. Also there were quite a few people blasting music with foul language, so maybe not for little kids.

Good trip. We arrived at approximately 11:30 am and made our way towards the entrance of the park. We opted to hike the Eden Park Outer Loop, which was a roughly 2 mile hike around the park. The trail started off at the Krohn Conservatory, and looped back to the same area, once we were done with the trail. One of the stops on our trail included a scenic overlook, with great views of the Ohio River and Kentucky. A portion of the trail consisted of walking alongside the road and crossing the street, where we were met by a water fountain feature. We continued our hike around the water fountain and then through a forest and some additional gardens.

Tip: I recommend spending 1 hour here if you truly want to see everything.

Was and is a great and wonderful gift that Cincinnatians have long had. First time back n 30 years and so happy to still see how beautiful it is and fascinating to see some of the structures in the park and the wonderful views of the city. Lovely place to get away from the city while in the city.

Visited Eden when we came to Krohn Conservatory. The views from the overlook were great with the Ohio River and Kentucky. There was a beautiful brick building that reminded me of a castle but it was closed. An amazing job was done designing this park.

Would love to see Gabor Barabas' name etched next to his saying
"Find me a voice with which to speak for those who speak no more."
This is as pertinent and prescient now as it was then.
I am making a small donation.
Thank you for a beautiful space to breathe and live.

We were sightseeing in downtown Cincinnati and wanted a place to picnic. So we looked up nearby parks and drove over to this one. There were lots of picnic tables but they weren’t the cleanest due to the many geese around. So we picnicked out of our trunk. The overlook was very pretty though! There are other areas of the park that we didn’t have time to stop and see. It was a pretty busy place. But large too.

Beautiful inner city park with lots of walking trails. Vistas of the river. President’s grove with trees for every POTUS. Lots of places to commune with nature. Don’t miss Krohn Conservatory.
