Have been dropping in at MAF many time over the years. Some nice hiking trails (short). The arboretum offers lots of attractions, walking areas, and diverse flora.

We went to this park on Sunday of labor day weekend... There was a HUGE family reunion being held there. We were looking for a more peaceful time, so we drove around a bit. The hiking trials weren't marked very well and the Arboretum was closed. The gardens around the Arboretum were in need of some TLC and up keep.... More

Took a group of children 4yrs to 10yrs old, Enjoyed hiking, wild life and the famous Tree House. Upon driving in we stopped to watch a flock of wild turkey cross the roadway in front of us. During playground time, raccoons were seen scampering around in the woods at edge of clearing. Several raccoon tried to sneak out of cover... More

This park is quite impressive. It is very large, and has a lake, trails, and an arboretum. Also, it has a professional-quality disc golf course. Highly recommended!

Nestled in the city, you wouldn't imagine how large this forest is. There are multiple entrances and it is large enough to get lost but overall beautiful. They have some ponds and trails, gazebos and beautiful vegetation. Definitely a great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of life, and even better, it's only a few... More

I took my young boys to Mount airy forest to explore the Tree House, It was very cool, We then explored some of the nature paths and then off the the large playground. There were many options to choose from, We have also used this park for family pcitures located by the gazebo. It is a beautiful park.

The Good: large, fairly maintained, free, trails, good location The Bad: city and highway noise, mixed maintenance, area not so great This is a large park with gardens, trails, forest and a large pond. It's a nice place for a picnic or a little exercise. It's pretty but the maintenance is a little spotty. I have never seen it crowded... More

Beautiful park. We use to drive here every weekend with our grandkids to see the wild deer and sometimes walk around near the Atrium. We have not been there but a couple of times this year because the deer are missing. They were the big draw to that park since Winton Woods and Sharon Woods are closer.

Why do I love Cincinnati? It's many beautiful and accessible parks is one of the reasons. Mount Airy Forest is large urban park located within the city limits. There are trails for hiking, roads for biking, pavilions, picnic areas and a disc golf course. I enjoyed a very relaxed weekend afternoon walking the trails and savoring the emerging spring foliage.... More
