I have been in most major art museums in the world and this small regional one is a real find. We first read about the Daubing Monet & Van Gogh exhibition in the New York Times. We knew we should visit. This exhibit has very good consistency, draws out the strengths of the artists and exposes the viewer to perspective... More

We stumbled into this Museum thinking it was President Taft's home. I know, not well prepared visitors, but so happy we stayed. This museum houses a nice, small collection. Very nice porcelain pieces from Limoges, a Rembrandt, a few Hals and Gainsboroughs and a knowledgeable staff. The building itself belonged to Taft's brother and was interesting in its own right.... Looking forward to the Downton Abbey collection but definitely worth going to see the French Impressionists this month. The Taft is interesting to tour if you haven't taken the time. Definitely reserve a table on the weekends if you think you may want to have tea and/or lunch. It is a small cafe and gets filled fast. Consider volunteering as... More

I only had an hour, so I didn't want to pay the $15 admission fee. Maybe it's worth it, maybe it's not. That's pretty expensive in a city with good free museums. Note that have free parking behind the building, but I missed that and paid the higher rate for onstreet parking.

We love to go early on Sunday, admission is free! Special exhibit is $5, more than woth it, especially if you appreciate Impressionism. Features for children too.

This museum is not the Metropolitan Museum of Art, not the Museum of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, not even the Cincinnati Art Museum. It is a small regional museum with a limited collection housed in a President's home. It is delightful. The collection is eclectic but that is what makes it fun. You find paintings and objects which may not... More

We visited the Taft art museum & found an outstanding exhibit of Daubigny Monet & Van Gogh. This exhibit arranged by Taft curator shows clearly the connection between the artists. One of best shows of impressions of landscape. Make this a destination before May 29,2016. Curator also made show accessible to children. Visiting the house & viewing the families private... More

Pricey. Scant. Expected lots more based on the write up. I probably wouldn't recommend it or even suggest it. No bang for your buck here.

Beautifully updated with "killer" Chinese ceramics. They also have one of the great Rembrandts in the world. Go.

My wife and I and our son who was 6 months at the time had a good time here. It was rainy outside so we wanted something to do inside for a little bit. We found the Taft museum of art. We loved the art and history of the house. You can read about it in various places of the... More
