The streetcar food tour was so much fun! We tried such unique places and had fun food experiences. Our tour guide, Laura, made the tour even more fun by sharing interesting details about the city. I live here, but I learned quite a few things! Hihgly recommend this as a fun outing with family, friends or co-workers.

Fun in Cincinnati

We were in Kentucky to see the Ark Encounter and wanted to see Cincinnati so we booked a tour with Riverside Food Tours. Laura was our guide and she was fantastic!! The restaurants she took us to were great, a sampling of different foods and beverages. Laura was very informative concerning the buildings, history of the town of Cincinnati and the different cultures that have made the town what it is today.
I highly recommend a tour with them.

Our Lovely tour of the city of Cincinnati

My husband booked a tour of the city which included at least 6 different restaurants for a sample of their signature treat. We were blessed with 45 degrees weather in December, so it was a beautiful day to stroll around the city. Our tour guide Beth, was amazing! She was friendly,kind and very knowledgeable! Since we were the only folks on the tour we did not feel rushed. We also were able to ask lots of questions. We truly enjoyed the city of Cincinnati,and highly recommend Riverside Food Tours for an incredible experience of food,sights and plenty of history! Had we tried to venture the city on our own, we would not have had the same experience! This 3 hour tour,was money and time well spent!!

I was skeptical about the vegan food!

Let me start by saying that I'm not even close to being a vegan. However, for my birthday I wanted to take a streetcar food tour and this was the only one available. I was completely SHOCKED at how good ALL of the food was!! Our tour guide was wonderful, even noticing when things caught my eye and giving me history and background on buildings and public art. I would highly recommend this to anyone who considers themselves even a little bit food adventurous. You will be pleasantly surprised!!

This was our first trip to Cincinnati and my husband booked the ethnic eats food and history tour. Every bigger city in the U.S. has an interesting history and our tour guide, Laura, proved that Cincinnati was no exception. At every stop and during our short walks Laura shared about Cincinnati’s rich history in a fun and interesting way. Each of our ethnic food stops were delicious and if I weren’t so stuffed by the end of the tour I would have gone back for more. I highly recommend Riverside Food Tours!!

We took a group of 24 and toured the city with Laura. She did such a great job with the planning process. She went over and above to accomodate our group size and find great places that would take our group as not all restaurants would because of limits on seating. The food portions were way too much to be able to eat everything. I would have gone down in portions or one less stop. We had five total stops. I would suggest maybe four. I highly recommend this tour and our guide Laura.

Thank you for the wonderful review! Your group was so nice and a pleasure to host. I'm glad you enjoyed the restaurants and actually we did cut one of the restaurants off the tour. We normally go to six places because we never want anyone to leave hungry. Thank you for your high recommendation.

Best bites and sites tour

My family and I had a wonderful time today with Dave, our tour guide. It was so fun to learn about Cincinnati’s history as well as experience foods famous in the area. When he asked what my favorite taste was, I had a hard time naming only one! The potato pancake at Izzy’s was amazing (Chewy, savory, I wanted to go buy more!), as was the waffle at Taste of Belgium (unique, dense like a cake donut, made with yeast and imported pearl sugar). The ice cream at Graeter’s was heavenly at the end of our tour. The temperature was 89* with a real feel of 97* due to humidity. I would do it all again with Dave as our guide, but this time over the Rhine!! Thanks for a memorable day. HIGHLY recommended!!

Fun and Filling Food Tour of MainStrasse Village area of Covington

My husband and I had a wonderful time with eight new friends and our charming guide, Laura, on our Saturday food tour of the MainStrasse Village area of Covington, Kentucky. We visited six establishments, each offering a delicious but completely different type of food from brunch dishes to pizza to dessert. Atmospheres and menu options were diverse enough to accommodate almost every palate. The tastings were all so yummy that it was hard to pick a favorite, and portions were so large that no one had to worry about leaving hungry. Between stops, Laura told us about the history of the area as she pointed out interesting architectural features in the lovely old buildings we passed. When the tour was over we were presented with a list of top-notch restaurants to help us make decisions about where to eat during the remainder of our trip. We were so impressed with our experience that we recommended Riverside Food Tours to the people at the bed and breakfast where we spent the weekend. We will definitely be back to sample the cuisine more amazing venues that Laura showcases on her other tours. Riverside Food Tours will not dissappoint.

More than just food

I anticipated trying new foods, but in addition I discovered some history and some amazing architecture in OTR. Our guide Jackie could not have been more passionate about all aspects of her city and kept all our spirits high in spite of the rainy weather. Local or OOT, treat yourself to this tour!

Amazing Wine and Dine Tour

We went on the Summer Only Wine and Dine in Over the Rhine Tour.
I cannot say enough GREAT things about this experience. Jackie was a wonderful guide and kept in good contact with us before the tour. We ended up going to 6 establishments, and amazingly, even though we are Cincinnatians, we had only been to one of them before! It was a very unique tour and the bits of history sprinkled throughout meant very much to us. We love hearing about our city and picking up snippets we never heard before.
We fully intend to make plans to attend another tour when we have out of town friends visit. I have already talked to 10 people about how lovely of an evening we had. VERY well worth the price and experiences we had.
