We visited the zoo a few times before. It is on a quite big area so prepare yourself for a nice walk. I especially love the nocturnal animal house! The Festival of Lights around Christmas time is a must!

Probably one of the biggest zoos I have walked around but very nice. It's probably better during the summer, more than half of the animals were off exhibit since it is winter. My only complaint is parking. $9 to park when it is also $9...More

There's definitely '" no place like home." I've been coming here for the past forty years & it never gets old. There's always something new or added too the zoo each time we visit. Besides the zoo itself, the staff & animal handlers are amazing....More

We went to the zoo during the festival of Lights, what a spectacular show! Everyone at the zoo was polite and friendly. We enjoyed some hot cider and warm almonds, yummy! Some of the animals were not out, but we expected that for the time...More

We love the Cincinnati zoo. With the exception of the San Diego Zoo, nothing else comes close. There are primates, wild cats, birds, elephants, sea mammals, insects, reptiles...you name it and it's there. The zoo is noted world wide for its work to increase the...More

I grew up going to the zoo. Remover seeing the hippo in a concrete tank and the gorillas in jail like cells. It's so great to see how things have changed. Bringing my son to the zoo he can now see the compassion and care...More

I love this zoo because you have so many areas of the zoo to get up close and personal with the animals. They have a lot of full glass walls that are great for viewing. Watching the Giraffe eat from the platform or watching the...More

Great zoo, stopped on our summer road trip down to Disney. After seeing this zoo always in the top rankings decided to make a stop. Was terribly hot the day we went, spent 2 hours and it seems like we only seen half of what...More

Does anyone know where is a good place to stay near the zoo? We will be traveling from Michigan and would like to make Cincinnati a mini two night vacation. Also any other attractions a mom of two teen girls might enjoy? Planning for summer/July thank you!
