Great Local Art

There were great local Cincinnati artworks from the turn of the century with a ton of women artists represented.

Lived in Cinti twice for over 15 years and toured the museum for the first time. I'm not a big museum person, but overall it was a pleasant experience. The staff is pleasantly nice and makes suggestions to tour museum. It's not over welming and you really can go any direction. The cafe was awesome. I had the hummus and... More

My husband and I had gone a month earlier and decided to take our kids back with us. There is a scavenger-hunt type activity for the kids to do on their way through the museum, which helped my 11-yr-old and 14-yr-old stay a bit more interested and make them consider what they're looking at. As with any museum, some areas... More

CAM is a real gem! It is the oldest art museum west of the allegany mountains. I started taking my children there on Saturday mornings when they were young; at that time Saturday's were free admission. Now the museum is FREE every day. It does cost $4 to park. My grandchildren are now enjoying the museum. There are new exhibits... More

CAM is an older museum with collections from the 1800s, which also now exhibits contemporary work through their visiting exhibits. A delightful lunch room looks on to a garden. Special events for all ages are frequent. Not too big to exhaust one, but big enough for a wide variety of subjects, periods, and genres of work.

We had a very nice experience. The museum itself, the architecture and the grounds are beautiful. And free. There is a parking fee, but you can part outside of the gate for free and walk 150 yards. the museum has a very diverse collection and something to suit every taste. They also have some kid friendly activities as part of... More

This is a great museum-world class actually. The art is second to none and displayed in a most appropriate and delightful setting. Each room is a pleasant surprise and the flow of the art just works. You pay for parking, $5 I think, and admission is free to the museum. If you spend around $10 in the gift shop, parking... More

The Art Museum is free access and should be visited at least once..... Free wifi also, (haha). The staff was very friendly. The displays were amazing. Would definitely go again because there's always something new to learn about.

The Cincinnati Art Museum has a lovely setting in Eden Park. The collection includes a wide range of paintings and sculptures from all over the world, but also features works by local artists. It's easy to navigate and enjoy a range of types of artwork without being too overwhelming.

I believe this museum is free to visit. check their website. Last I knew an endowment had made this possible. There may be a parking fee though. They have different displays so do check their website. Otherwise, there are several enormous rooms up & down with displays from ancient to modern. Get some culture and enjoy a visit. We have...
