The Cincinnati Art Museum is a must do for visitors and Cincinnati natives. It is free (donations accepted). The museum is packed with amazing work from many famous artists like John Singer Seargent, Monet, Picasso, just to name a tiny few. The art work also spans many eras. WE went to the Cincinnati Art Museum to renew membership and view the special exhibits - Devne Cats, and The Carl Wolway exhibit. The Cats exhibit covered cats from Egyptian mummies and goddesses to modern times. Well curated and imaginative displays. The Solway exhibit covered the wide varieties of modern art from Carl Solway Galleries from the early 1960s to... More

What a museum!!!! If you love art, history, architecture, interactive/hands on kids experiences (scavenger hunt available from check in desk), this is a grand museum! Gracious donors make it totally free to tour... Parking is extra if not a member.

We went to the museum to see the Cat exhibit, but spent rhe day wandering all of the exhibits! We had a lovely snack in the cafe, sandwiches, lemonaid and a beer. We bought a few things in the huge gift shop too. All of the exhibits are top notch, not just boring room after room of paintings by people... More

The Cincinnati Art Museum is a stately building, and it's filled with interesting and beautiful works of art. It's by no means a world-class museum, but it's a pleasant place to spend a quiet afternoon.

This museum has no diversity. Its mostly japanese art, and colonial white people. i wanted to see the beautiful african art but there wasn't a single piece of african art in their permanent collection.

We took our grandchild to see the museum and every one enjoyed it. Lots of new and classic art as well as ancient artifacts. Plus just pay to park.

Very nice piece to kill a hour or two. It's free and you can see some pretty interesting things. No bags are allowed inside. They do have lockers for you to put bags in.
