We visited the Maison Bleue tasting room in Walla Walla, WA on our anniversary recently and had (another) wonderful experience there. We have visited many wineries and tasting rooms over the years in Northern California, Oregon and Washington, and I have to say that Maison Bleue is one of the best tasting experiences we have had. Not to mention that they also have incredible wines! Maria is the Wine Ambassador and wine expert there, and she always makes us feel at home and special. She knows her wine, can make recommendations and answer any questions you might have. She makes the wine tasting experience fun and interesting. We highly recommend making a reservation at Maison Bleue in Walla Walla for a truly enjoyable tasting experience.

We are Wine Club members and joined after tasting downtown in 2016. We left another well known vintner's wine club for Maison Bleue. The variety is not cluttered: there are about 5 basic MB plus the newer Pambrun line of 4....that's it. No confusion about tasting differences since some wines can 'run over' into another and tough to discern the difference. Mike Collins, the wine master and tasting room host, is so personable and talks the science of wine making with the blend of the artistic nuances that he is a master at...take a minute or two and ask Mike about the wine you are tasting and be amazed that the price range is about $40-$75 per bottle, not more. The tasting room is kitty-corner to the Walt Whitman hotel downtown. Try MB.

We stopped in at Maison Bleue cause we have heard such great reviews. Mike C (young guy with a beard) was fantastic. Knowledgeable about his wines and great conversationalist. I learned about the history while enjoying a perfect pour of delicious wine. A must stop in my opinion.

We had a good hour in this tasting room in town. Nice room, tastefully decorated. Every wine was great and our host took the time to explain the different areas of the region and the vineyards process.

The woman in the tasting room was unwelcoming, unfriendly, and completely lacked personality. She was on the edge of rude so we did not stay.

Maison Bleue was recommended to us from a pourer at another winery. We came with great expectations but left disappointed. The four of us could not find a wine we wanted to purchase. We could barely coax any kind of conversation from the young man pouring...had to ask questions of him and got the shortest of answers....and it wasn't crowded. Not a fun experience.

My wife and I were there May 25. The tasting fee was $15, but supposedly waived if you bought 2 bottles. We tried three wines. The host, some young guy with a beard, poured a 1/2 thimble-full of wine into our glasses. So little that when you swirled it in the big glass, evaporation of the liquid coating the glass prior to tasting was an actual concern. I bought a Grenache and a Syrah on the strength of magazine reviews alone, because I sure as heck couldn't discern anything from the molecular samples we were poured. Then the guy charged us an additional $15 for the tasting because, while *I* bought two bottles, my wife didn't. By far the worst tasting room experience I've even had.

We just visited for the Off Main Gala tasting weekend. The tasting room is very inviting with a good amount of seating. Zach helped us and was great. We didn’t feel rushed through as we did at another tasting room.

A few years ago I was steered to this winery when I asked a knowledgeable colleague where I could get a good white wine for a Thanksgiving dinner. Since then it has become my favorite tasting room. I send my family Walla Walla wine for Christmas each year and find Maison Bleu has a whole range of superior reds too. My siblings drink a lot of wine and I nothing but superlative feedback n these wines.

We are not into the tasting rooms vs wineries and this made the case. We found nothing special here. Not bad but nothing special
