We were late, but the park is always open. We were welcomed to the Mill Creek Dam, Benington Lake and Rooks Park. All in one! There were lots of massive trees and grass. I like the dam. The river was perfect for the fish to head to the dam. I liked that the most. People can play tennis here. We had fun and we enjoyed the river. Worthwhile to see!…

If looking for a nice open place to go for a stroll, jog or even picnic this is the destination for easy local access. Park is well shaded while the walking paths are mainly out in the open. Many different directions you can go. Love that it is next to the water. Dogs are welcome, just use the cleanup bags!…

At the east end of the city Rooks Park offers space for picnicking outdoor activities, hiking, wildlife watching, group gatherings. A large covered space can be reserved for events. The park is bordered by the Mill Creek trail and dam, and offers access to several hiking trails around the nearby reservoir.There is abundant wildlife which changes with the seasons. Rooks park is next to Mill Creek with a nice paved walking path running along the creek. The park has a volleyball sand pit, children's toy structure, large grassy area for picnics, shade trees, and covered picnic area with bbq pit. The park is within a close walking distance to Bennington Lake. Parking is free and easy to access park.…
