A very informative museum on the Mississippi River. The most enjoyable part was stepping aboard the Mississippi IV, a river tugboat. We were able to go on deck and also visit the various rooms, such as the pilot house, dining room, sleeping quarters.

Love the displays and information. The Missippi has changed over the years and their maps and displays helped to understand the changes. Very kid friendly and the ability to walk around a real river boat was a great experience.

This is a great little museum - the staff are very helpful and the exhibits are interesting. I enjoyed walking around both inside the museum and out on the boat. Well worth a trip when in Vicksburg!

This venue gives you a good sense of what the Army Corp of Engineers are responsible for. You can easily go through the museum and riverboat in an hour. Great for families. Very friendly and helpful volunteers and staff.
