We spent well over 2 hrs touring this park. It's a must see if you are in Vicksburg. They have some of the most beautiful monuments. The history of this place is fascinating!

We bought an audio tour cd in the visitor's centre which guided us through the battlefield providing information on the different stops and sights in the battlefield. Very impressive sights

15$ a car load, but there was no one at the gate, we went memorial day weekend and an hour before the parked closed, so we only stayed and watched the 20 minute documentary which was free anyway. Definitely a great overview... More
