Kaimana Tours has been open since 2000, we are a family business. The tours we provide have an excellent range from different hikes to a beautiful snorkeling trip to Hanauma Bay. Our goal is to captivate memories that will last all of our customers a life time. We provide instructions about the trails and Hanauma Bay, so no one is going out without knowing what they'll be encountered with. Our tours are self guided. We do our best to inform you of each hotspot at the different trails and the bay so our customers are on the look out for it while they're on the tour. Kaimana Tours strives itself on demonstatring the beautiful island of Oahu and its perks through our tours.

Rainforest tour
This tour company really impressed me. They phoned me the day before the tour to advise they had managed to consolidate the pick ups and as a result they could pick us up later and reduce driving time. The driver was punctual, friendly and knowledgable. He got a fine balance between giving us a short introduction on the ride and leaving us time to relax.
We really enjoyed our time at the Lyon Arboteum. Despite the rain, which could have disappointed some, the scenery was even more impressive in short sharp showers. Certainly recommended.
Hanauma bay shuttle
Excellent organisation from the tour company, who rearranged the pick up time the day before for no charge.
We had our own equipment so did not use those provided.
The driver provided a valuable introduction to the bay and gave us good details on what to expect, and his recommendations.
We had such a good time at Hanauma Bay - the number of fish and the coral was just incredible - that we managed to turn up 5 minutes late for the shuttle back. Top marks to the driver who patiently waited for us and did not make us feel bad.
Don’t forget that Hanauma bay is closed on Tuesdays to minimise damage to the bay.
Recommended.

Booked 2 different Kaimana Tours through Go City Oahu-Diamond Head and Rainforest Movie Sites Hike. Such an easy and simple process! They rebooked one of my tours but was able to make it an easy transition so that I can transfer buses on-site instead of dropping us back at our hotel. Saved us a couple hours to do other things in our day!

We had a blast day at Hanauma Bay the shuttle was on time and the driver provided all the instructions about using the snorkel gears and what we could expect when we arrive there. We loved our snorkel gears and also we added chairs and umbrellas that were extra, but really worth it since there is no shade there. We took the 6:00am and we were the first people to watch the mandatory video. We will recommend to all my friends! Mahalo Kaimana Tours.

Website wasn't clear for Go Oahu customers, and when i submitted a complaint, they sent me screenshots of options for Go City customers that were not there when I first signed up for the service. Poor customer service via email. offered to honor my pass for an additional $25. I didn't take it because i decided to dispute with my credit card company, because why should I have to pay $25 to get my $88 back that I wasn't supposed to be charged for in the first place?
On another note, the diamond head tour was overpriced. Shuttle and pass for $44 (including tax), for a pass that is only $5 per vehicle. Just plan ahead and get your own reservation.

Our website is very clear and have the option for the go city customers enter their passes ,has been there for more than 7 years. You requested a refund and asked to charge your passes instead and yes we told you the fee,to revert the charge because this the amount that we have to pay to do that, and was explained to you.We won’t pay the fee for you since was you who made the mistake.

The Diamond Head hike is steep and narrow! Go early in the morning to avoid the heat, be prepared for lots of stairs. Go slow, take lots of rests, drink while you rest. Its worth the work, the views are beautiful. The bunker was cool too, go inside.

Enjoyed the trip. We are in our 60s and made the hike up fine. It is steep, wouldn’t advise for anyone with medical or mobility problems. Loved our driver Adam and was very convent to have everything taken care of.spectacular views!

Chris was our driver. He was great. Very personable. We did the Arizona Memorial. Chris not only would point out all the best places to see on the drive there but also local spots to check out. Also Chris shared a lot of Hawaiian culture which was very interesting. The excursion was set up well and I would recommend it.

My friend and I went to the store with 4 kids and we had the most amazing customer service ever!!! Carla is such an excellent professional, so friendly as well as her daughter Monique that both helped us to get the gear that fit us. Monique is such a sweet person that helped all the kids and Carla is so friendly. The gear has great quality, good price, chairs, umbrella all you imagine is provided in the store. They even helped us to get the tickets to snorkel in Hanauma Bay. The best experience Ever!! Totally recommend.

The Hike was breathtaking and snorkeling on the Bay was beautiful however, the land and sea package should have included the entrance fee to the bay for snorkeling in their price. When booking it did not show those extra charges which is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 4. Also tour guides could have been more interactive with the group.

The snorkel tour guy and service was great. What astounded us was the water quality and condition of Hanauma Bay. We visited here in 1988 and the difference in 2020 was heartbreaking. I will not return as Hanauma Bay is clearly over-loved and has been destroyed by too many people visiting. What was a clean, clear, tropical fish haven is now a dingy and overly crowded reef with barely any room for the fish. I can't tell you how sad it is.

Thank you for your feedback. Indeed lately Hanauma Bay has been a bit more crowded than usual like back in the day. Certain times are better going like earlier in the morning because there is less people. Due to this pandemic the reef has gotten a much needed rest and all should be back to the glory days.

Does the Diamond Head tour provide drop-off closer to the entrance than public transportation, or any sort of priority for entering the park? I'm trying to decide whether to book with you or just take an Uber/Lyft. We're a family of four staying at the Park Shore (near the Honolulu Zoo).

We purchased a Go Oahu card and see you are a participant, however, we are staying at Hawaiian Princess in Makaha and will have our own transportation. Can we use our card without the use of your transportation? Or would we just be better off visiting Diamond Head, Makapuu point and Hanauma Bay on our own? Thanks!

You can book ahead any tour on your own time and validation your card package if the Kaimana tour have tour you wanted on that day( hanuama bay tour only on specifed dates and times) .Generally, the provided transportation in Waikiki area hotels are avvailable, you have to call to the tour office if your hotel are nt in waikiki whether there is pickup servnice or point for getting on car(very easily seen with logo"Kaimana"). Have a good yime and get most benefits from card.
