It's free. It's all accessible. It's a great way to educate children about expression of art. It's a fabulous way to look at and appreciate art in a different form and expression. It's such a comfortable way to appreciate arts. No ones has to worry about admission fees, hours, security check, "Do Not Touch" signature, etc. It's such a revamped neighborhood. It's a fantastic way to beautify an industrial neighborhood. All these wall art murals warmed up the neighborhood and draw people who otherwise would never go to this neighborhood.

Good to walk around this trendy area with street art, Honolulu Brewery, small shops, a decent selection of eateries in Salt and more. Street parking needs quarters but free parking for first hour in Salt so that’s the best place to park then can walk around.

Do not miss this area if your spending more than a day in Honolulu! It’s only 15 minutes by car from Waikiki, 5 minutes from King Kamehameha and Iolani Palace. I travel a lot and I try to find cool start art wherever I go and this is by far one of the best collections I’ve come across! There are just a ton of art pieces in about a 4 block radius in any direction from Mother Waldron neighborhood park. Just park near there and wander around. You won’t regret it!!

I really loved Kakaako and tbh would have loved to have stayed in the area but there isn’t much accomodation. I love graffiti art so this place is obviously perfect for me. I had read reports of it being u safe but i didn’t feel at risk where I was there. Great breweries in the area 👍🏻

We found the area by accident and we have taken visitors back many times. There are the coffee shops and there is a fishing tackle outlet and the Honolulu Beerworks but the best attraction is wandering around the area and seeing the murals on the sides of the buildings that transform blank walls into massive artworks. You can catch a bus get off at Ward St and wander around yourself between Ala Moana Blvd and Auahi Street between Cooke and Keawe as a starting point.
