We had a great time touring Oahu with Real Hawai'i tours. Our private tour guide, Shannon, was a local from Honolulu that peppered in personal stories along with the history as we drove around. He made it so easy for us to add and adjust where we stopped. My father has trouble walking and he was so helpful with finding spots close for easy entry and exit from the car. The 7am pick up included an amazing first stop for coffee and a great day to follow. Highly recommend!

It was so nice to deal with a company that let me choose what we wanted to see and so instead of a cookie cutter tour that shows you what they want you to see and do. We spent our time seeing the parts of the island we wanted while Shannon told us the history of the island and answered our questions. We were not rushed through the tour and got to spend time seeing what was important to our family.

We booked a two day private tour of the island. Our tour guide Jeffrey was amazing!!! His friendly, fun loving attitude as well as his knowledge of the island gave us a better understanding of the area. He was very accommodating and always asked if we wanted to see anything else, and also brought us to places we did not think of. He made the experience very memorable. Dan the owner was also very helpful with planning our tour and having everything setup and answered all the questions we had. If you are looking for a customizable private tour, we recommend booking with them. They are great!

I had done several bus tours of Oahu and wanted a more personalized experience, the Real Hawai'i delivered! It was like touring the island with a friend, customizable and more relaxed. Dan was able to show us areas and views we'd never seen during any of our prior trips and never would have been able to tour with a bus group. He was also gracious enough to take pictures during our stops. Mom and I will not soon forget the experience and hilarious conversation about shrimp legs. Thanks again Dan!

We had a great day with Jeff. We had done the circle tour before, so he was more than willing to take us to off the beaten path places. We did some amazing hikes. We even went to Costco to get some local items at 1/4th the price as gift shops. Jeff was friendly and very informative. We will use The Real Hawaii on our next visit to the islands.

We are a family of 4 (kids 10 and 7 years) and had an AWESOME 1/2 day tour of North Shore with Tim. He was amazing at going to areas we were interested in, super nice and knowledgeable and engaging with the kids. We would HIGHLY recommend this tour company.

We've been to all islands and toured them all. First time with with The Real Hawaii. Everything went perfect from setting it up with Dan to our awesome private island tour with Patrick. We visited the main tourist places along with little local only private spots. Also great and safer with just our small family and Patrick. Can go most anywhere and was on our schedule to stay or go as we wanted. 5 star must do and the only way to see The Real Hawaii !!!

Wonderful tour of Oahu! Patrick was very accommodating and patient with our group. Willing to alter the route several times. We learned a lot and had a wonderful time! So much better than a bus trip!!

Hawaii’s North Shore favourites. Visit the beaches, turtles and foodie highlights. Comfortable, informative, and friendly exploration finding new experiences to treasure and enjoy. Great tour guide, listened to our needs and gave us the best day out! Highly recommend this tour, just wished I bought more than one piece of pie from Ted’s Bakery, so good!

Thoroughly enjoyed this full day tour of O’ahu! Jeffrey our guide was faultless in his warm, accessible and patient manner. We toured the entire island seeing incredible beaches, walking craters and lava tubes, tasting chocolate, visiting a serene temple, eating at North Shore food trucks, shopping in small surf boutiques and visiting movie set sites, all topped off with contextual commentary and a fun quiz! All chosen by us as we went and adjusting to our needs and wants as the day went on. Loved it, we will treasure our memories!

If you do drive yourself there are a very limited amount of roads once you get out of town. You could drive around the southeast corner, along the east side, along north shore and then cut back through the middle. Hope this helps. Aloha, Dan
