At first sight this was an overcrowded touristy shop but there were some good products for sale if you took time to look. The tour of the outside area was interesting in some respects, for example looking at blossom and pods on coffee trees but the rest of the area, which wasn’t working as it was Sunday, led us to believe that it was somewhat derelict and just part of the old Sugar Mill which had been closed for close to twenty five years. Mildly interesting if you happen to be passing but not worth going out of your way.

Living close by we find ourselves frequently visiting this location for its several shops (North shore dingz, NS soap co., Pyzel, the old mill for coffee, etc. They are also building a new brewery onsite. A must do when visiting the NS.

This was about 1/2 hour from Honolulu but such a cool place. We were immediately greeted by someone who gave us a quick tour and talked about the coffee bean roasting. We were then given samples of coffee, cacao and fruit butters. There was a wide variety of Hawaii themed items. We were there on a Saturday so there was also a farmers market on the grounds. The view of the mountains behind the mill is breathtaking. There is also a soap factory on site . We made a nice 1/2 day trip by visiting here then going to the north shore and visiting nearby Haleiwa for lunch.

This was a great visit. We had an excellent tour given by a young lady that covered coffee making/growing and cacao processing. They also offered free coffee and chocolate samples (try the chocolate covered coffee bean). Actually, there was nothing in the store that were interested in that they did not offer to let us sample. Our visit was outstanding and we would go back.

We stopped here during a drive along the north shore. We missed the tour, but tasted the coffee and perused the shop, which had interesting food items, such as honey, jams and jellies. The folks were very nice. It's not a must-see, but an interesting place to stop and get a shaved ice while you're stretching your legs.

We took the tour of the coffee processing plant. It was fun and interesting. The gift shop and staff are very nice. We were able to sample the coffee varieties too. They were tasty. Cocoa is also grown here.

I just wanted some coffee and saw this place and am so glad we stopped! Such a unique experience and was fun for my mother, my daughter and me! They had a very unique and interesting book section, an area for kids to play, free coffee tasting, and the staff is super nice. The Kona coffee is amazing!

They give you a little "tour" and state some facts. Its quick but cute. There are a few samples you can taste not alot of variety. Good coffee and funky gifts. Good spot to stop at on your way to the beach, break up a long drive.

This is that out of the way shop you always hope to find. When you visit the Old Waialua Sugar Mill you have found that place. They give you a mini tour of coffee & cacao trees, watch them roast coffee, and sample it. Going throughout the large old mill you will find kick knacks, many items made by both Hawaii companies of wood, various choices of sundry items hats, etc. It's not a restaurant but sells neat snacks and other items to please your pallet. It is a short ride from Dole Plantation Center.

Suppose it would be an adequate stop for some but did get much out of it. Trying to sell trinkets at a somewhat inflated price (even for Hawaii)
