DO NOT use this company!! We had a trip planned for the end of June. I had made our reservation ahead of time for the Luau because it stated cancellations were available as long as it was in advance. I have tried a million times to get someone on the phone, but it is never answered. I contacted them in May and June by email letting them know due to Covid and Hawaii’s 14 day quarantine we were pushing our trip to the end of July and I needed to cancel or change our June reservation. We ended up having to cancel all together because the 14day quarantine was extended through July. I have never received a response to either email and still can not get anyone on the phone. We are currently disputing the charge with the credit card company now. When we are able to take our trip we will NOT be going to this Luau!!

Review of: Ka Moana Luau
Very fun evening, but expensive for what it is. I would look into other options if you are on a tight budget. Recommendation, do this on one of your first nights on the island because the buffet will likely be all the food you've been eating daily since arriving to the island (Poke & Hawaii bbq) & salad. For the price, I felt that the event was very short, and based off of the online seating map I expected stadium seating rather than a large family picnic arrangement. I was glad I didn't pay for the VIP seating's as it was only one table in front of us in a 2 row arrangement. What to expect: -Check-In (arrive early, lines can be long) -Receive your Lay -Professional Photo Op (Pictures Available for purchase at the end of the night) -Sprint to the Bar if you want to drink out of a pineapple for the night (an additional $17 on top of your ticket) - Walk around the Aquarium -Activity stations (temp tattoos, dance, Ukulele, & hats) -Dinner Buffet -House Band -Feautured Show

Diamond Head Luau was a fortunate “discovery” during our last stay in Waikiki. We didn’t know about it, but our Concierge guy reccomended it and we are ABSOLUTELY happy that we followed his suggestion!! Upon arrival, you are greeted with a FRESH flowers lei, which I thought was very delicate (not a mass luau!) This LUAU states to be THE ONLY FARM TO TABLE luau and we appreciated the food served very much!! My husband loved the vegetable curry stew with tofu, and the “soft” kalua pig: can’t number how many shots of delicious POI hubby kept mixing with the pig!! To me HULI HULI CHICKEN is a must at every luau we visit, though I liked also those tender kalbi beef short ribs, delicious. We knew that, before dinner, there were Hawai’ian activities going on (like ukulele lessons and lei making), but we preferred to visit the AQUARIUM, which was a really pleasant surprise (entrance is included with your luau ticket). Corals, anemones, jellies, besides the Hawai’ian State fish,HUMUHUMUNUKUNUKU APUA’A, kept our eyes peeld to their gentle moves for quite a long time. Last, but not least:the show!! AMAZING, though “simple”, as it might have been decades ago, when luau was a “family” celebration for graduation, birth, wedding etc. The Polynesian review was well performed, every dancer seemed “committed” as if she/he was really glad to share their culture with guests; the fire knife dance at the end of the very pleasant evening was ...INCREDIBLE!! Thankyou to each and everyone! We appreciated also the meet and greet with the artist after the show and the lovely stroll, back to our Waikiki hotel, under the stars. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and we hope to be back sometime in the future.

Aloha Laura, Mahalo for your awesome 5-star review! We loved reading how much you and your husband enjoyed our Farm to. Table buffet offering, kudos to hubby for enjoying the poi island-style, with the kalua pork! We are so glad to see you both enjoyed the experience and appreciated the added bonus of free admission to the Aquarium, we look forward to seeing you both join us again in the future! Until then, Aloha

Enjoyable evening however we paid for a Luau experience that was supposed to last 3 hours but it ends after 2. Started letting a LONG line of people in at 520. Probably later than 540 for all people to enter because they want to take promotional photos as you walk in. So the show was 30 mins of activities, 30 minutes to eat and and an hour of Polynesian dancing. The show ended at 735. We did enjoy the experience but I am sorry advertising a 2 hour show as 3 hours is deceitful. I asked one one of the employees if the Luau was really over which they confirmed. Felt like I only saw the first act of a Broadway show.

Pleasant wait, good food and entertainment. Got to see the aquarium as well. A great variety of South Seas dances were performed.
