We greatly enjoyed our Aloha Hawaii Circle Island and Snorkeling Tour. Ian, our driver and tour guide, was very informative and knowledgeable about both the island and Hawaiian history and culture. Additionally, he was incredibly entertaining and drew the tour participants into conversation and laughter. I would recommend the tour and, if possible, Ian as a guide.

We booked a Sites and Bites tour. Lani, our guide and driver gave us many back stories and orientation to help us learn about the food, language, and customs. She managed our group of 35 giving us shopping tips, water safety, and special landmarks and sites. The $14 Aloha Shrimp Truck lunch was a bit pricey for 8 shrimp compared to Giovanni’s 12 shrimp for the same price but we didn’t need to wait in a long line like for Giovanni’s. Bring cash for the lunch. Additional stops to buy souvenirs are in Waiminalo and Dole Plantation. The 7 hrs together was well spent.

Our driver Trent helped us while navigating the city bus system and he was the tour driver to the ka moana luau. This was a family of 10 including our parents who were celebrating their 50 wedding anniversary. I'm just finishing up the photo album we made of our trip to Hawaii trip give our mom and dad since we had all the pictures on our phones! A big chunk of the album is all about you and how you went above and beyond and made this trip so incredibly special. To get to watch our parents get celebrated at the luau was more than we could ever imagine. There isn't anything that can top that night and we are all still talking about it weeks later. We could have never planned anything that could even hold a candle to what you were able to do for us. I can't put into words how lucky we were and how thankful we were to get to meet you and for your thoughtfulness and kindness. You changed our lives and gave us the most wonderful memories that we will cherish forever. All of our friends and family that look through this album will read about you and your spirit of aloha that you share with so many people everywhere you go. So I just wanted to tell you thank you again!

I booked this tour over the phone at 9am on a Monday- 20 hours before it was scheduled to depart (on Tuesday morning). Unfortunately circumstances didn't go our way and we ultimately needed to cancel our Tuesday reservation. When I called back at 11am- just TWO hours later, the reservation assistant informed me that no cancellations could be made with less than 24 hours notice. I explained that i had JUST booked the tour 2 hours earlier and that no-one told me about the no cancellation policy. No empathy. They were incredibly rude saying that I could "do whatever you want but you won't receive a refund at all". Not impressed.
We ended up going on the tour to manage our loss. This tour was advertised as snorkelling with a guide who is an experienced certified lifeguard. The guide did not enter the water to guide the snorkelling tour. It was basically us pulled over at the side of the road and given snorkel masks and told to go swimming and see if you can find any. The guide sat on the beach and waited in the bus.
Overall: Interesting tour but not worth the money. Cheaper to rent a car and drive around the island at your own pace.

I was sold a package from these people that appears to be a total sham. Just for listening to the presentation I was supposed to obtain 1 hotel package immediately which took me almost a month to get. Then I was promised 2 other gifts, 1 has still never been received and isn't even what I was promised. Once I filed a complained with the BBB I did get a call from a supervisor stating she would help me obtain all I was promised and that she would personally assist me in booking the best spring break trip possible. She asked me to give her 48 hrs to put something together yet it is a month or mote later And I haven't got any single phone call or email in response to anything that I've left on their voicemail system or email system. But when I have refused to pay them they're going to seek a collection company on me and even then they still won't return my calls even though I've asked the finance company to have someone call me back. This place is a sham BEWARE OF THEM AND DO NOT FALL FOR

Please give Ian a raise. He is an exemplary and superb driver and tour guide. It’s awesome that he can do both at the same time. Ian kept everyone awake, attentive, and laughing hysterically the whole way to our destination and back. Most importantly, I loved how Ian let us know ahead of time that we may or may not see turtles when we get to the spot. I and my boyfriend made a new friend that day named Ian. I give Ian’s customer service a five star review. The overall review is four stars because of the venue and the cloudy water. I know that part is out of your control but, maybe have an alternate snorkeling site.

Overall we were happy to do the tour, our guide knew everything about the island, and told us very interesting stuff, he also was very funny and created a very happy atmosphere from the beginning, and that was great.
The tour stopped in a couple of lookouts and beautiful beaches to see them and take some pictures, we even saw some whales, although we thought it was going to to stop in more interesting places.
The meal for lunch was a bit early, but very nice.
The snorkeling was not great due to the weather, as the water was not clear, but the beach was nice, and we got to sea several turtles, which was awesome, in a good day it must be ever better.
Overall a good experience ;)

My favorite part of the tour was our entertaining and informative guide (cousin Johnny). We learned both a lot about the island and a few new words. He made us feel like he was giving his ohana a personal tour and the kau kau at the lunch plate spot (I recommend the spicy garlic shrimp) was awesome! If he were a ride share driver we would rate him 5-star with an “all star” comment. Thanks Johnny!

Dennis was a great tour guide!! He was full of information and his enthusiasm and sense of humor made the tour so much better!
We originally booked the sightseeing tour only but got added to a tour with snorkeling. Obviously, we didn’t bring swim gear so Dennis helped find sea turtles that settled on the nearby beach for us to check out. It was a memorable experience!

Johnny, our tour guide was amazing! He was entertaining and very knowledgeable about his home land He was a safe drive always keeping track of time. He shared tips to make out tour better and safer. He made the tour feel like we were part of his family. I enjoyed that about Johnny.

Absolutely. As someone else mentioned, some stops will be easier than others but if you are able to get on and off the bus you will do great :) Feel free to bring your cane on the bus with you!
We do have and ADA Accessible bus as well that we can reserve with advanced notice if needed.

Hi, sorry for the delay--I just saw this. The Road to Hana tour includes a lot of scenery from the van. When you get out, there are short walks to lunch or up a path. I recommend you request the "Shotgun" front seat for best ease of getting in and out. I'd say go for it--there's a lot to be seen just on the ride.

The tour I went on we stopped at a Shrimp Shack. We paid around $15 per person cash only. We were told prior to our tour so we made sure to bring cash.

Aloha and Mahalo for your question! The tours are very similar however there are two different routes/schedules for our Circle Island Sightseeing and our Circle Island Snorkeling Tours.
The main differences are - the snorkeling tour does not stop at the Pali Lookout and instead spends more time on the North Shore for the snorkeling portion of the tour. Our Circle Island snorkeling tour is $109 for Adults and $79 for children.
The sightseeing tour *does* stop at the Pali Lookout and does not snorkel on the North Shore. The Circle Island Sightseeing tour is $99 for Adults and $69 for children.

We were fortunate to be the only people on the Hana tour that day so got to choose how much time to spend at the different stops. We opted to go all the way around. We were gone from Ka’anapali for almost 12 hours. I think it depends on the general consensus of the group if the tour turns around or not.

It’s our first time in Oahu. We are looking to drive ourselves and take a scenic drive in/around the island. Does anyone have any recommendations...which road(s) to take? Much appreciated. Thanks. (Sorry to post on here by the way....wasn’t sure we’re else to post)

Hey there!! Hope you are enjoying your time in O’ahu so far! When my husband And I went we stayed in Waikiki.. so the closest Highway was H-1 , turns into Kalaniana’ole HWY, we took that towards Makapu’u Point. (Obviously we googled everything lol that’s a cool place to stop but you def should keep going) but literally it’s one highway that wraps around the island so it was easy to find our way back. We just drove, enjoyed the scenery and if we saw a place to get some food or to stop and jump in the water then you just find parking and go! We made it as far as Waikane.. the beaches were awesome. Becareful there because the waves are very strong!! (The further you go) You will see signs .. Kailua beach was amazing too I highly recommend it. Hope that helps! Aloha!
