This area is what the International Marketplace was like before the high-end remodel. There are many kiosks of Hawaii related souvenirs, clothing, and jewelry. This is where you will most likely find the best deals on items like this in the immediate Waikiki area.
Don't forget to haggle, especially on jewelry and oddball items.

A big part of my travel experience is finding something made locally. It’s a great way to have a piece of that vacation experience with me always. I wasn’t that impressed and definitely got beat on the price for to “Hawaiian dresses” but supporting the locals is a small price to pay for visiting Hawaii. My advice, haggle.

This laneway of flea market type stalls has been operating for over 30 years.

Vendors are mainly Asian with a lot of the same being sold by each stall.

You will find souvenirs and clothing including Hawaiian style clothing.

My wife and I purchased a matching outfit and I bought a few local styled shirts.

It is like a small swap meet. Are mostly operated by vietnamese people, and a lot of items are fake products. They don't give a receipt or no warranty, so if you buy and walk out, you can't return or exchange in case it breaks.

Pretty cool experience walking through this market and looking at all the cool little souvenir gifts. Recommend it if you're looking for a little different than just the main shopping street. Close to the strip so it's easy to get to.

The best place to buy all your souvenirs at the cheapest price. Lots of competing stalls side by side so easy to compare. T-shirts for $3-$4 each! Huge selection to choose from too.
Tucked away down the laneway next to the Beachcomber Hotel.

Saw a bracelet at one of the booths and asked the vendor the price, she told us $110. I let her know the exact same bracelet was at the ABC store down the street for $19.99 !! She then tried to sell it to us for $40 or “whatever we had”. Be cautious!

Stumbled upon this market on a Sunday afternoon. I wish I had read TripAdvisor reviews before stepping foot in because I didn't realise it was a haggling market.

Most items do not have a price tag and they will give you an outrageous price before "lowering" it - so try your best to have an idea of what the price is to avoid FOMO (fear of missing out) or succumbing to them and purchasing out of guilt/discomfort...

Not going to lie, you can get souvenirs for a much lower price (compared to the prices around Waikiki); however, as stated above, know your price and stand your ground. Also be prepared for rude, pushy, invasive and aggressive vendors who get upset when you don't want to purchase their product.

I'm really unsure about how to feel about this place. Is the potential for a tax free bargain worth the somewhat traumatic experience? I really don't know...

I hated this place !!! The vendors are so rude and pushy. All you need to do is look at them and they start asking you "how much you pay" when you say no thank you they started to abuse us and say well you can shop at macys and then start yelling at you when you try and walk away. Cheap stuff not made in hawaii. I would avoid this place unless you want to be verbally abused :(

If you're looking for a decent Hawaiian shirt made on the island then you'll find one here and at better prices then the ABC stores etc. Not really my thing but my elderly relatives enjoyed it and bought some nice souvenirs.
