Now the old place is a high end mall anchored with Tesla dealership in the front. If you follow the painted footprints on the sidewalk, it will lead you down a narrow laneway where you will find stalls and stalls of jewelry, clothing, souvenirs, etc....More

We walked a long way for this based on other traveler’s reviews. I wouldn’t do it again. The souvenirs are comparable to the ones you find all over the place perhaps slightly cheaper but it’s crammed together in a small hot space. Not really worth...More

The vendors here offer all sorts of Hawaiian clothing, trinkets, bags, fashion jewelry, art and crafts etc. It is a very touristy market and lots of fun. Be sure to compare prices and to bargain! Sometimes you can find the same thing cheaper at Longs...More

Duke’s Lane, where it really is, just across from the Royal Hawaiian Center and down the street from the “New” International Marketplace, both of which are loaded with high-end luxury stores, is the remnant of the old International Marketplace we loved with all its kitsch....More

While I understand times change, I was shocked to see the International Marketplace I visited many years ago has become a ghost of itself... During our visit, on a weekday, many stalls weren’t open and those that were all had the same things... clothing and...More

This place is not bad but not great either. They are all squashed up in this on little alley way and can be annoying and too hot to stop and look at each stall. My mum bought some dresses and tried bartering but they were...More

I really liked the International Marketplace long ago before it was a glitzy mall. I was rather sad that now there are a lot fewer vendors crammed into this alley. There are still lots of things to look at, but it's just... less than it...More

Seeking the International Marketplace which we visited many times in the past, we were disappointed that those two words now describe a very upscale shopping mall. When I asked staff at the mall's information desk, they had no idea what had become of the kiosks...More

Maybe it was not high season but there were just a few stalls open. Took a general photo of the stalls (from Kuhio Ave end) and immediately got told off by the lady owner - " Dun take pictures of my stall if you dun...More

They all have the same things and nothing is priced. If you start looking at something they start to pester you and want to barter with you. I couldn't get out of here fast enough.
