Hawaii Food Tours™ was created by Hawaii's #1 Food Writer and Restaurant Reviewer, Chef Matthew Gray. It's for those who love food & fun. Voted Best Tours on Oahu for the past two years in a row!

Two different daily tours; one takes place in & around Honolulu... the other goes to the North Shore. We will feed, educate and entertain you all day long!

MSNBC Network called us one of the best food experiences in the world! These fantastic tours feature Yummy Food, Fascinating History, and Culinary Decadence!

Our Famous Hole-in-the-Wall Tour™ includes a behind-the-scenes walking and tasting tour in Honolulu's amazingly colorful Chinatown! It's an entertaining, informative and FUN Honolulu City Tour with several stops, including 2 of Hawaii's most famous Bakeries & one of a kind Marketplaces. You'll be eating between 15 & 20 different foods! This tour takes place all over Honolulu, away from the touristy areas of Waikiki, where only the real locals go to eat.

Our North Shore Food Tour™ gives guests a tasty glimpse of the colorful and rural "countryside" area of our island of Oahu. Many people read about the North Shore, about the beautiful huge waves, the garlic shrimp trucks, and rustic away-from-the-city areas, and that's what we give our

guests, including some genuine Hawaiian food, a garlic shrimp plate, various pastries, Hawaiian Beer, and a visit to a coffee and sugar plantation.

We took the North Shore food tour, along with our college age son, and everyone had a great time. Carl and Anastasia were great guides, not only to the food of Hawaii, but to its history and culture. They were also more than willing to give recommendations for other places to eat, even on other islands, and other things to... More

Booked Late December, 2017 Fantastic informative tour of local gems - sampled Hawaiian, Portuguese, Korean, and Chinese foods in different ares of the city. A GREAT way to orient yourself and open your eyes to the beautiful diverse cultural neighborhoods in Honolulu off the beaten path. Chef Matthew Gray was a warm, funny, interesting host, willing to share recipes and... More

This was a unique way to spend the day and discover the food culture of Honolulu. Our family did this together, were picked up at our hotel and led by 2 great tour guides all around Honolulu to discover both sweet and savory foods plus tropical fruits and drinks! Come with an empty stomach because although the portions are reasonable,... More

I have traveled all over the world and one of the things I love to do is go on a food tour to try out the local places where people go that is not on your basic tourist map. I have been to Hawaii before and heard about Hawaii Food Tours from other people and they were right, being a... More

Went on the North Shore tour. The guides (we had 4 of them--not usual, but fun) were down-to-earth interesting and answered all our questions enthusiastically. In addition to the tour, the guides gave excellent suggestions for my foodie needs. Learning about the Hawaiian foods and specialties was fascinating. Tasting them was even more fun.

I took the North Shore tour. This is a great opportunity to get out of Waikiki and see the other parts of the Islands. The tour guides, Carl and Anastacia, were polite and knowledgeable, had funny and interesting stories about the island. Come hungry because there will be plenty of food. I would recommend purchasing a Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cream... More
