Alan gave our Segway tour. He was such a fun gentleman ready to share all he knew about Oahu. You need a good memory to take in all his vast suggestions for restaurants & activities. Listen to him! He’s so right!
Alan gave us a quick but thorough lesson & we were on our way! Let me tell you, this is the way to see the well travelled spots that are a bit more out of the way from the Waikiki craziness…He presented everything in such a fun way. The art district was amazing & the park & ocean views were fabulous—-we were so close to surfers. He made us the coolest video to memorialize the entire excursion—most would charge separately for this. He loves his business & it shows!
An added plus—-> he’s a dog lover & makes organic treats!
Note—-> I am 53 & never done anything like this. Don’t doubt this activity! You will love it!

We love doing Segway tours when we travel and this one was so much fun. Alan was our guide and you can tell that he loves what he does and loves sharing the history of the area, as well as giving recommendations for restaurants and things to do. And the photos he sent us, and especially the video, shows his passion for delivering a memorable experience. Whether you’ve been to Oahu before, or not, this is a great way to see parts of the island that you might not get to, and hear about things that only a local would know.

We had a blast!! Alan was incredible, neither of us had ridden a Segway before, but he made sure we knew how to before starting. We saw parks, beaches, surfers, divers, and even yelled at Echo Park. He gave us history, recommendations of restaurants and beaches, the best places that are hidden gems. If you can stand, you should be able to ride. All I can say is, give it a try!!! This was definitely the highlight of our trip!!

Such a beautiful tour !! Michael was a great guide, and Jeanne helped me out by booking me as a single rider on an existing tour. As a bonus, I ate at the “Highway Inn” that they recommended, and I returned later to the Ala Moana beach and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon away from the crowds and tourist traps in Waikiki. 🤩 Such a great day !

Many were riding the Segway for the first time with 8 colleagues, but the instructors, Fumi and Armin, showed us how to do it, so we were all there 💨
People who are tone-deaf were able to ride properly, so I don't think there is a problem for those who are anxious!
The wind was nice and the scenery was great and the satisfaction exceeded expectations☀️
The person who has been to Hawaii more than 10 times was the most happy, so no doubt!
If you're about to travel, it's recommended that you experience the cityscape on the first day!
Finally, I would like to thank Fumi-san and Armin-san once again for sharing their recommended shops and spots.
This is one of the activities I want to do again when I go to Hawaii!

It was one of the best Segway tours we’ve done (and we’ve done many in different cities). It started with amazing customer service from Jeanne- she was very helpful and accommodating for our schedule. She also had great advice on things to do in the area. Alan was our guide and very thorough - providing a mix of history and info on the area. We covered a lot of ground and saw so much! We highly recommend this tour but do it on one of your first days here then you’ll have more info to plan the rest of your trip.

Our guide, Alan was very knowledgeable, shared insight about the area and provided recommendations on dining as well. The Magic Island tour was fun and informative. The views were amazing. Their equipment is well kept. I would definitely recommend them, too bad we didn't have time to do another tour with them.

I recently had the pleasure of taking a historical Segway tour with Segway of Hawaii, and it was an excellent experience. The tour was led by Jeanne and Allen, who were fantastic guides. They were incredibly patient and managed to keep the group entertained with their sense of humor while providing insightful historical details about Oahu. The balance of fun and education made the tour both enjoyable and informative. Overall, it was a great way to explore

For anyone who has not ridden a segway- do not be afraid to try this great activity. Josh was our tour guide and he was so great and so informative about so many cultural things we had questions about. He was patient, encouraging and took us to some perfect scenic spots. He also gave us a list of local eateries which turned out to be great recommendations. Time flew by during our local beach tour. A wonderful experience and would do this again next time!

My family had such an enjoyable experience on our Segway tour. Alan was an incredible guide and teacher - this was the highlight of my family’s Hawaiian trip! Alan and his wife went beyond and above visiting with us afterwards giving us some additional Hawaiian suggestions as well. Thanks for making our trip so memorable!

Aloha - and thanks for your interest in our fun and informative Segway of Hawaii tours throughout Waikiki and Honolulu.
All guests must be a minimum of 10 years of age for all tours with the exception of our Honolulu History & Cultural Tour - where all guests must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
Anyone under the age of 18, must be accompanied on the tour by a responsible adult over 18 (parents, big brother/sister, auntie/uncle...etc.).
Our apologies for not responding sooner, didn't see information request.

As Australians visiting Oahu we intend to do the Segway History Tour. With our dollar only being 70c, for two people the tour cost will be $540 AUD. with the suggestion of 20% tip that would bring it up to $650 AUD. Just wondering if Australian readers here think that tip is appropriate. ?

Aloha to you in Australia......thanks for your interest in joining our fabulous Honolulu History tour when you are in Waikiki. Gratuities or tips are always at the discretion of our guests. It's entirely up to you how you would like to show your appreciation for a great tour.
In the US - gratuities/tips - aren't included in the bill like in your country (service fee/all inclusive) - and you will see a line item on any bill in restaurants, bars, tour activities, hotels where a guest may leave any amount they deem appropriate.
