Michael was a great guide. We had 5 in our group with ages ranging from 11 to 77. He spent extra time making sure Gramma was comfortable with her Segway and then he was able to manually assist her through some of the tighter turns. It didn't slow us down and he did it without making her feel inadequate. We were able to see some beautiful sights, but it was really Michaels stories and knowledge of the area that made the trip great. My kids cant wait to do it again.

Aloha & Mahalo for joining us on tour and delighted to learn that even Gramma enjoyed her time and was comfortable riding a Segway. We appreciate that you reserved with us and perhaps we'll see you on another Segway tour in the future. A Hui Hou!!

We loved this experience! What a fun way to see some sights. Our tour guide, Sy, was the best. He made us feel comfortable and was able to share some history of the island. We will definitely be back to do another tour on our next visit.

Several of us went yesterday and had a great tour around Waikiki and area and enjoyed the riding a lot and got to see several places of interest. Very informative with Sy and Jackie guiding us. Jackie provided the smiles and great attitude! Thanks for a super time!

Awesome tour. Easy to find. Great tour guide. Felt very sage. fantastic time with my husband seeing all the beautiful beaches and areas. Instruction was great. We felt safe and confident, riding the segways. Expensive but well worth it! It’s all about the experiences.

We took the two hour glide tour of Kona, which was fantastic. The guides had lots to tell us about the locations we visited, and we had a chance to stop at a couple of them for photos and for some of the local fruit. We even had a couple of opportunities to max out the Segways.

They took loads of photos during the tour, and sent them to us by email afterwards, which was a wonderful extra touch.

Highly recommended for any trip to Kona.

I think the people from the tour are writting reviews for themselves to be higher up in Tripadvisor's rank! This was the worst tour we had in Hawaii!  First of all let me start by saying that I am a young, quite athletic, girl and the Segway is not as easy to drive as some imply.  It is certainly much harder than riding a bicycle.  Our tour guide, a Russian girl, had absolutely no patience to teach, she kept saying "how easy" it was to ride and had very little tolerance if you did it wrong.  She even rolled her eyes once when I was about to fall!  The tour itself (to Diamond head) was worthless: you ride along a crowded street in Waikiki and then up a mountain towards diamond head but you never really make it to diamond head because it is too steep for the Segway to go there so all you do is ride to the middle of the mountain then she tells you to "look up" to see Diamond head (which we could have done from our hotel balcony).  The rest of the view you can't really focus on because you are so focused on riding the Segway and trying not to fall!  We really just wasted our money here (quite a bit of it since it was $130pp plus tax!). I don't recommend this to anyone!!!

The Segways were a lot of fun, unfortunately the service and management let this tour down. I wouldn't recommend this tour to my family and friends due to the value for your money, the guide wasn't local and mandatory tip (over $50). If you book this tour make sure you read the terms and conditions.

My teens spotted this tour while we were sitting near the beach in Waikiki. The company has people driving around on the Segway's giving out brochures. They let us all try the Segways on the path near the beach and it seemed like a lot of fun so we signed up for a 90 minute tour. It is exensive but could be well worth the money if they gave you a true 90 minute experience becasue the Segways are a lot of fun to use. Our exerpience however, was very dissapointing. Our tour guide arrived 10 minutes late, one of the Segways had a flat and had to be replaced so that was another 15 minutes and the training took way too long. Once we started it was already 45 minutes after the start time. The actual tour only lasted 45 mintues and we didn't go very far and the tour guide was on his cell phone alomost the entire time. When we got back I insisted we go for longer than the 45 minutes we were on the Segways so we got an extra 10-15 minutes. They then added an extra 20% gratuity to the bill which hadn't not been disclosed, although they insisited it had been. I insisted on reducing this to 10% and even that was a lot based on the event's price.

This could be a very fun event since the Segways are a lot of fun to drive; however due to the above issues I rate it as poor. If you do this event I would recommend to be very specific upfront on the time you will actually be touring and the gratuity amount.

We had seen Segways many times during our stay across the U.S. Every time we finally found them, we were down to our last few hours before flying out.
...last stop, O`ahu, Hawai`i.

While visiting the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort & Spa, long behold there were Segways riding around the beachwalk surrounding the Lagoon. I approached, who, turned out to be the Opps. Manager for the company, Channelle. She was helpful and more. Not only did she give us excellent resturaunt reccomendations, she sold us on a Segway Tour.

We chose the downtown history tour that they provided. 2-3 Hours of 'Gliding'. We promptly checked in around 9:30am. Channelle was our guide. The tour was $130.00 per person and well worth it! We were escorted to their 'training area' where we got a 20 minute training session on how to ride the Segway Personal Transporter. We had the opportunity to ride the Segway i2/x2. It was intuitive, and easy and soon we were confident and on our way out. Gliding along the beach parks with the ocean to our left and beautiful scenery to our right, Channelle explained to us what it was like for her growing up here. Details in the history were amazing. Kakakao was our highlight. We had been riding along the beach for 15 minutes or so but once we entered this park, our jaws dropped. She took us up to the 'echo stone' Amazing the way sound travels...We snorkeled OUT OF WATER...best experience ever. More fish then we saw on our snorkeling trip to Hanauma Bay. Once into the downtown area we explored the State Capitol, Iolani Palace & Barracks, King Kamehameha Statue, Territorial Building and the old Church Built out of Coral. Then it was down resturaunt row to find cheaper places to eat. After about 3 hours we arrived back at the Hilton Amazed that we were able to travel so far and see so much in such a short amount of time.

All we know is we'll be back for New Years and we will ride again with Segway of Hawaii. If you're looking for something fun for all ages, Segway is worth trying. Their hospitality was above and beyond and their tour guides knowledgable.
