Do not let the price scare you away. This tour was suggested by my travel agent and lumped into a package. If I had seen the price before I might not have done this one, which would have been unfortunate. We were a family of four. This tour was my husbands favorite part of our two-island Hawaii experience. The tour... More

We booked this tour after listening to a blog about Hawaii. We are so glad we did. It was the best way to get an overview of the island. Sean picked us (3) up and we headed out toward the north shore. A few sites that we could choose to stop at if we were interested, local knowledge and a... More

Lanai was our tour guide last year for the Half Circle Island tour and it was very informative and interesting. We didn't think twice about booking him therefore for a personal tour of the west coast so that my daughter could see her favourite animal, the turtle, up close and personal. She had missed out last year on seeing them... More

Thanks for a great Tour. UR the best. From Canadians :) Lanai gives an adventure tour and history with food thru the ages. Amazing knowledge and humility from an earth worshipper. Well Done Lanai.

What a great experience tasting the flavors of Hawaii with Lanai Tabura! We got to go to the Dole plantation for some pineapple then Tanioka's and had spam musubi, tempura, ahi poke, among other dishes. Visited Chinatown and stopped at Royal Kitchen and had manapua. Went to the Oahu market and tasted some turon (apple banana spring roll) and kakanin... More

This tour gets a bit long with random stops at houses seen in only a few episodes (Rachel's house, as an example), but the tour guides make the most of it. They do a great job of connecting where you are with what you've seen by showing show clips for each site. While I think this could be done in... More

My husband and I knew that if we had a good day on the Circle Island Tour that our guide would be truly excellent. Worst storms ever, half the island flooded out, roads closed - (they offered to reschedule but we were leaving Oahu the next day) - Sean, our guide was AMAZING!!!! We got to try poi and poke... Aloha Robin, When we say we do our tours rain or shine, we mean it! We're so happy you were able to get out and enjoy in spite of the inclement weather conditions. Sean is one one of most requested guides and always adapts to any situation. It sounds like you got a lot of sights ticked off on your... More

You are informed about your pick up time with a call and text message. Your guide awaits for you at the door. "Welcome to 5-0" you can't get so psyched enough! The information about the show is not just historical but it makes you watch and re-watched the original show. The video clip supplements the places and stops....on top of... More

I had an unexpected half day to spend in beautiful sunny Honolulu and wanted to see more than just the expanse of Waikiki Beach. Hawaii Jeep Tours was SUCH a great find. My guide, Sean, took me to many highlight spots that I had last seen in 1972, my last trip to the island. His local knowledge , impeccable manners... More

My friend and I wanted to do a personal tour rather than a mass bus and this was ideal. Just the tour driver, Daniel and us. Daniel was very informative and showed us as much as he could on our half circle tour. Even though a little more expensive than a bus tour it was well worth it being personal... More

Mahalo nui for your thoughtful review. We agree that the big tour buses cannot provide the personal experience we offer. Having a Jeep take you around the island is also better then the minvans and small tour companies that try to replicate what we're doing. We're so happy to hear you had fun with Daniel, he's passionate about Hawaii and... More
