We took our 21 month old for a rainy morning activity. He had a great time exploring the space. There was so much to see and do, I was really impressed. Unfortunately the longer we were there, the busier it got, but it makes sense because it was a perfect rainy day activity.

We had a birthday party for our 2 grandchildren here and had 17 children and 8 adults. The center did such a terrific job and the children had lots to do. The staff was excellent and this whole party was booked online and arranged from Florida. Thank you so much for a great children's birthday party!

Located in Kakaako, Honolulu. Lots of free parking at the adjoining park. We visited with 3 adults and one toddler. They offer reduced senior and Kamaaina entry rates. All activities are intended to be hands on - science activities, simulated plane, bank, fire station, grocery store, TV broadcasting, or theater allow the children to participate in multiple activities. Don't miss... More

Went to the centre this morning with my three year old daughter. We caught the bus from Waikiki, which was an easy trip. My daughter loved all of the sections and did not want to leave. We spent 2.5 hours here. Really good for a break from the sun.

My kids both loved this place. It is not so big you get lost, but just big enough to stay busy for a bit. The favorite attraction there was the plane. My kids loved sitting in the seats or pretending to be pilots. We would spend most of our time in that plane with other kids.

The Discovery Centre was loads of fun for our 2 year old. She loved playing on, in, and with everything on offer, particularly the fire station and the little theatre. The water area was also a big hit. The Centre is starting to show it age though. Some of the pieces are starting to look worn out, as other people... More

This is a very large discovery center for children with three levels of fun. They have water play in the rain forest, a 3 and under area, our town with the dr.'s office, theater, firehouse, auto shops, vets office, navy boat, airplane, library and so much more. We love the cultural exhibits- japan, china, portugal, india, etc. They have rotating... More

Decided to go check out this Children's Discovery Centre after having gone to other ones in other states. As others have mentioned there are many homeless tents nearby but we weren't bothered by anyone and it didn't affect the fun my kids had inside. My 18 month old and 3 year old loved it (my 3 y.o. Didn't want to... More

My kids thoroughly enjoyed this place and after being on vacation for a week already without their toys and friends. They really enjoyed the interaction with other kids and the great play areas of the center. I was worried my 7 year old boy would be bored but he loved the magnets, body demos and even the market store and... More

This isn't the largest or most advanced children museum we've been too, but considering it is Honolulu this is a very good facility. The museum itself is located on the western end of Honolulu. Thankfully when we visited the homeless encampment that was in the area seemed to be mostly cleared. There was ample free parking in front of the... More
