Private Tours Hawaii is the perfect way to spend the day exploring Oahu. We wanted to experience the Island without the added complications of a large group. Private Tours Hawaii provided that service beyond our expectations.
The itinerary followed the counterclockwise circuit of Oahu with stops at all of the popular attractions. From Waikiki, we made our way around the beautiful southern shores of the island, then up the eastern shores, and finally the northern coastline before returning to Honolulu.
The tour was 100% flexible and our tour guide, Dave, explained that we could add or remove stops as we wished. Dave was very professional and safe, sharing his knowledge of the sites in a very relaxed and comfortable style.
We spent eight hours enjoying the trip without the tension that comes with driving. It was a perfect day.

Amazing day! Our tour guide Ron was so kind and knowledgeable about the island. He felt like family by the end of the day. He was so flexible with the schedule and customize fit to what the family was interested in. We do some amazing local spots and learned so much! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Ron for making our trip a memorable one.

Not wanting to spend 9 hours on a bus with 60 people I don’t know and in a set schedule, I opted for a private tour. After researching and reading through reviews I picked a small company - Private Tours Hawaii. The owner, Adam, was quick getting back to me answering all my questions. We had a private car with a driver/tour guide and set our own schedule. What an amazing day we had! Our driver/guide, Sally, was AMAZING. Picking us up from our hotel, she had already reviewed our wish to see list and made several great recommendations. She was a wealth of information about the history of the island, took us on back roads buses could not get too, avoided the tourist trap restaurants and was so much fun to be with.
In the midst of COVID/DELTA, we had a safe day, enjoyed touring the island and have a new friend.

The trip of a lifetime with Mom, age 88 and her kids and grandkids! We wanted a smaller tour that took into account Mom's physical limitations, as well as the real Oahu. Greg was THE BEST at showing us the beauty of the island, off the beaten path, the places we had read about , and tourist must sees. Greg accommodated all of our needs, and made mom feel comfortable. We saw and experienced things that we would never have seen on a big tour bus, or on our own. We appreciated Greg's enthusiasm showing us where the momma and baby monk seal was sleeping. We appreciated Greg's knowledge about Hawaiian history, and his lightheartedness. Our party included 3 twenty-somethings, 4 sixty- somethings', and mom. Greg was congenial, present, with all of us. Our 10 hour day began and ended with a rainbow, as Greg promised. It's been 3 months nearly, now, that we were there, and we are still talking about this tour, this day. Mahalo, Greg and Adam, you take good care of people!

If you are visiting Oahu, this is a must book tour. We have been to the island 3+ times and this was a wonderful experience with our friends who came for the first time. We all experienced something new – from the scenery to the food to the green sea turtles – the day was pretty much perfect.
Adam returned my last minute call and had a tour booked for me within hours for the next day. Greg was our top-notch tour guide with unparalleled knowledge and love of the island and the people. He gave us a full tour of the island, stopped for different photos, and his recommendations for food were spot on.
This was a completely customized tour – and in my opinion, is the way to go. This was a day of memories – and seeing the green sea turtles basking in the sun was icing on the cake. Thanks so much to Private Tours – and we can't wait to come back again!

Book this tour!! You will not be disappointed whatsoever!! Adam was so professional, gave us tons of tips on what to see and do and then left it up to us the day of to make any changes we wanted to. Greg was our tour guide for the day and there is absolutely NO ONE else that we would have wanted BUT HIM! He was so knowledgeable of the island being that he's lived here for more than 50 years. His love of the island, his Aloha spirit and his love of what he does just added to the experience of the day spent with him. No one else can beat that! We had an unfortunate circumstance at the start of the tour. My son left his drone at one of the lookouts and Greg stopped at nothing to try to retrieve it and the owner of the company, Adam went back to the spot and sure enough one of the islanders that was there, grabbed it and held it just in case. The aloha spirit is incredible!!! Do not hesitate to book with this company. They were incredible. Next year we are booking again as there is just so much to see on the beautiful island of Oahu!

Our travel agent hire this company to take us to Pearl Harbor and explore the island. Our guide was Ron who was extremely friendly, chill and knowledgeable. He took us around the island to many scenic locations explaining what what we were looking at and the significance of each location. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Our tour guide, Greg, has live in Hawaii for 48 years and earned a degree in Polynesian Studies from the University of Hawaii. Suffice it to say, he was extremely knowledgeable of the history and culture of the islands. That, combined with his pleasant demeanor and his desire to conform our tour exactly to our wishes made this probably the best vacation tour we have ever experienced.

Our tour with Adam was ranked at the top of the many highlights from our visit to Hawaii. We truly enjoyed spending the day with Adam as his knowledge of Oahu, the places of interest, the food, and surfing :) was amazing. We felt like it really was a personalized tour with him as he answered all of our questions while exploring the island.

Adam the owner was quick and helpful in setting up our tour. We were lucky to have Sally with us for two days. The first visiting the Arizona Memorial and sites around Honolulu, the next day we headed up to the North shore beaches. Sally is extremely familiar with the island and took us to places that are not typical tourist spots. We highly recommend Sally and Private Tours Hawaii.

My husband and I will be in Honolulu Jan 27-Feb 2. Do you have any of those days open for a day tour for us? And can you give an idea of the cost for the day? We have been to Pearl Harbour, the Dole plantation, and the Polynesian centre. We are interested in learning more about the people of the island, seeing surfing beaches, and likely many places you know about of which we have no idea! :)

WE are a senior couple planning to spend three days in Oahu before leaving for New Zealand. What we really would like is to be able to book a tour for a few hours on our first day March 20th. We arrive on West Jet at 10:45 and have booked a room at the Outrigger Reef. The ideal would be to be picked up at the airport and spend a half day touring. The next choice would be to able to be picked up at our hotel in the pm. Can this company provide us with this service
