About Pacific Soul Surfing
GUARANTEED TO SURF OR MONEY BACK! Pacific Soul Surfing, Learn to Surf, Waikiki, Oahu, Honolulu, Hawaii. Includes the surfboard with instructions. Pacific Soul Surfing is only a 5 minute walk to Waikiki Beach. We are located in Duke's Marketplace next to the Waikiki Beachcomber across from the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. Surf Lessons are for anyone who knows how to swim. We learn at the stand on how to stand up on the surfboard, and then we walk down to the beach to catch waves over a mostly sandy bottom. The waves are considered relatively safe and easy, as there's no major current, lifeguards are on duty, and you can sit off to the side when you're tired out of the way from other surfers without drifting away. Please talk with your instructor about staying out in the water with your surfboard after the surf lesson if you have the time and energy. Please note paddling is very exhausting and the hardest part of the whole thing.

I felt like I just had to try surfing while staying in Honolulu. Pacific Soul Surfing offered lessons for 60$ that included half an hour of practice on land and 1 hour of surfing, so I decided to go with them and I didn't regret it! Our teacher (forgot his name) was a great guy and gave some very useful tips. After the practice on land we went out for (what felt like) more than one hour, which is more than enough because you will be tired at the end! I was able to ride a couple of waves and had a great time. I would definitely recommend Pacific Soul Surfing to other people going out here!

The only thing my 7 year old wanted to do in Hawaii was take a surf lesson. I signed him up and his 11 year old sister. They both were standing and catching a wave multiple times in their first outing. The kids had a great time and the teacher was very patient with my kids. Spend the $30 on the photo package too!

My wife and I and our 12 year old daughter and 10 year old son all took surf lessons with Pacific soul. Our instructor Rich was fantastic. He is very knowledgeable and he knew how to talk to us and work with us so that we were able to learn quickly. He had us up on the board surfing in no time. He also had a photographer named Vince who actually helped instruct as well. We were able to get pictures of the whole experience and the prices for everything were very reasonable for all the attention and time we received. They were a great team and it was one of the highlights of our vacation for my entire family thanks to Rich and Vince.
