Last night I had two clients booked for transfers from the airport to Waikiki. They were arriving 5 hours apart from different airports. When the first one arrived she proceeded to baggage claim as instructed and found nobody was there to greet her from the transfer company. She saw an officer patrolling the area and he assisted her. She thought she was missing something. No. He couldn't find anyone either and even walked her done to look for the shuttle. She called me and let me know what was happening and I attempted to call. I immediately got the most rude and aggressive woman on the phone, who claimed to be the driver and that my client was a no show. Didn't even ask for the name or anything else. She cursed at me and hung up 3 times while I was trying to get information to help my client. I ended up instructing her to get an Uber. 5 hours later, they were not there again. This time we were able to warn the traveler to take photos of the baggage claim area and it would be time stamped to prove she was where she was supposed to be and at the right time. I cannot in good faith trust that this company will take care of my clients in the future and will be cancelling all future booking and switching them to another company.

Dear Keisha, I sincerely apologize to you for what happened and for any inconvenience this may have caused. We take all complaints very seriously and we do our best to resolve any issue you have encountered with us. One of your client called us prior to her arrival and we advised her that due to Covid we don't have our team members inside the airport anymore and we suggested to her to call our office when she will be at the baggage claim in order for us to guide her to the shuttle.

Don't count on them to pick you up at the hotel for an airport transfer!! They are not reliable!!! Left us hanging at 6:30 am with no transportation to the airport. Ended up getting a taxi and paying more than double what we would have paid for V.I.P. Trans. I will not use them in the future!!

After being dropped at my hotel I realised I had left a small bag on the VIP bus. I was able to contact VIP and they tracked down the driver who was still in Waikiki. The driver arrived back at my hotel about 15mins later with my bag! Amazing service and a very friendly driver. Really pleased with my experience VIP. Thank you.

Our flight was on time but this company did not show up to give us our leis. Big disappointment as it was a surprise for my family!! 😞😡. I’m not sure how to get my money back but will try once we get home.

I don't ever write bad reviews about services that I'm not a fan of but I have to express the terrible experience I encountered with this company.
Our transfer to the airport never arrived at the scheduled area and time. We had rang to confirm pick up a day before. When we had waited for 20 minutes, we rang vip and the operator was very rude, gave us a spray about the bus driver waiting for a very long time and hung up. We were on time for pick up and no one attempted to contact us to tell us anything. Not even to tell us the driver had left.
Do not book this company if you want a reliable transfer service!

Absolutely the worst airport transfer service I have ever had the misfortune to use. After getting through customs and immigration we then had to wait another 45 mins for the transfer to our hotel in Waikiki - no fun after flying 10 hours from Australia and 2 hours getting through the customs line. The VIP agent kept making excuses for the delay as we saw lots of Honolulu taxis available for hire. We found out later that we could have used a taxi for 1/2 the price we paid, no waiting on arrival and taken directly to the hotel instead of taking a circuitous route around Waikiki to drop off at five other hotels. Big tip for anyone - use taxis instead they're clean, roomy, air conned and the drivers are very courteous and efficient. But it gets worse.... Waited another 45 mins past the time they said we would be picked up from our hotel (where they had dropped us off previously) to go to the Honolulu Pier to board a cruise. We asked a number of VIP drivers that turned up to pick up other passengers with obvious seats to spare to take us to be told no we had to wait for our designated vehicle / driver. Eventual rang VIP to be told by a very abrupt operator we were supposed to be picked up from another hotel belonging to the same chain. They didn't accept any responsibility for the stuff-up, tried to blame the travel agent and wouldn't send another vehicle. The best they could offer was to call a taxi and we would still have to pay the additional cost. How is this outfit still in business? I suspect it is because most passengers are first time users and don't know they're being shaken down by an overpriced, dreadful service. I did promise that I would let others know of their ineptitude and woeful customer service. Sorry I had to give them at least one star so I could post the review, a minus star would of been more appropriate

I booked weeks in advance, a round trip for 6 from the Hale Koa to Pearl Harbor (USS Arizona Memorial). Getting there was not the issue but coming back, well, keep reading...
We were told we would be picked up at 4:30 PM. By 5 PM, no sign of anyone. There was also a couple from Oregon, military like us, who were waiting on VIP as well to take them back to the Hale Koa. We started calling them at 5:00 PM and every single time we called, there was an excuse about: "the van is almost there, the van is getting gas, the van broke down, the van is 2 lights away". Nothing but a bunch of excuses and we were put on hold for 15-20 minutes when we called and one time they hung up on us. Between the couple and my party of 6, we called them 4 different times to no avail.
My wife's parents were sick as one is a diabetic and the other one also has health issues, so we put them both and my wife's sister and husband in a cab around 5:50 PM. Yes, we had all been waiting since 4:30 PM!!!!!!
The other military couple and us were getting ready to call a cab as it was now 6:10 PM and it was getting quite dark. The parking lot attendant told us to get a cab because that area is very dangerous at night. As we were making the phone call, the VIP van showed up at 6:15 PM, basically 1 hour and 45 minutes late!!!
The driver was also upset because he was supposed to be off and they called him in to come get us Vs spending time with his family. He was a nice guy but he obviously felt for us like we also felt for him having to come get us when he was already off the clock.
We called the next day to complain and get a refund and the put us through the accounting department who flat out told us that she had never heard of any of their customers having had the problems we encountered. I guess she has not read other reviews here! We were getting nowhere with her so she put us through customer service. The lady there was very nice and apologetic but she said management would call us by the end of the day to see our issue. Well, no one has called us on the last 2 days and I will call on Monday to make sure they hear from us.
Don't book with them and please let others know to book with another company. Terrible service. Yeap, almost two hours waiting on their van!!!

Booked transportation from Honolulu airport to hotel.Arrived at airport waited at shuttle area for an hour,tried phoning but call could not be accepted as dialed for some reason?Ended up taking taxi.Called expedia who i booked it through,they phoned them to try to get refund but nope,apparently the shuttle van was at airport somewhere???,definitely not at shuttle pick up and drop off location.So no money back ,extra cash for taxi.STAY AWAY.i guess the customer isn’t always right.Never again.

We had shuttle service to and from the airport booked. From the airport the shuttle was over 30 mins late and then stopped to pick up other people from another terminal. After that we got detoured to the cruise terminal before getting to our hotel some 1.5 hours after picking up our bags!
We are now waiting for an 8.45am shuttle which is 20 mins late. One thing I do expect is that a transportation company is on time and VIP Transportation is clearly not very good at this aspect of their service!

VIP transport avoid like the plague!
We booked and paid ($25US) this company to take us to the airport 4 days in advance. When you book online you fill in your flight details and they suggest with international you be at the airport 3 hours earlier. All this information was filled in so they had all our details. Our flight time of 10:30am and a pickup of 7:45am. 8:00am and no bus. We called them only to find they thought our pick-up was 10:30am! After telling them how stupid they are not to read their own website and confirmation email they sent us, they advised another bus would be there “shortly". We waited another 15mins and caught a cab. We were now 30mins behind schedule, bearing in mind it's a week day and we had traffic against us. They are not worth it. We also found out that if you catch a taxi from any hotel to the airport it's a flat rate of $27US + tax!! Take a taxi it's much easier.

Could you please tell me where the check in desk is located in the International Terminal #2 for passengers making a departure on WestJet Airlines to Vancouver, B. C., Canada or YVR. Could you please let me know where the V.I.P. Transportation shuttle bus drops passengers off when arriving for a departure on an international flight. Thank you for the information and I will not depart for Hawaii until I receive this information.
