This park includes an area with trees and grass and the beach with lots of activities family friendly. It is not so crowded as Waikiki and you can exercise, walk, run or just relax. You will find tables for picnics around the beach area or you just can enjoy eating on the grass. Usually, you will find people taking their wedding pictures along the beach. This is our place to enjoy and relax because it definitely has the Hawaiian vibe.

Ala Moana Beach Park is a playground that just about offers something for everyone. Ala Moana offers acres of shady trees, picnic tables, and a wide expanse of grass to play around, tennis courts, yacht club and concession stands. Ala Moana Beach has a true urban beach feel that is beautiful, clean, and is a favorite among both locals and visitors. It is centrally located and accommodate large gatherings.

We have visited Waikiki three times but this was the first time we went to this park. Don't miss this park. Next time we will go to this park instead of Waikiki beach. There are benches to sit on, grass or beach to lay on. There are way less people that Waikiki beach, and it's a beautiful location with a great view of Diamond Head. This park would be great for small kids to swim at as it is calmer.
