About Maita'i Catamaran
The 44-ft. Maita`i Catamaran takes off three times daily to sail the beautiful waters fronting the world’s most famous beach, Waikiki. Unfortunately we were not able to join the tour cause of different circumstances however the staff and crew didn’t show any compassion and interest on helping us up on getting in a different tour. I called them 1 hour before the tour and informed us they had 2 sits available once arrived there the tickets were sold and had to go back to the hotel. Just waste of time and no problem solving ability was shown to us! Once you pay for your ticket they keep on moving to the next customers and giving no s*** about their previous customer! Shame!

Best trip ever! Captn. Dustin Getty and Josh are very knowledgeable, Fun and super caring during the whole trip. We parted from the back of the Waikiki Sheraton hotel, and the whole experience was about an hour and half long. We sailed with great choices of music and with a variety of drinks from Maita'i, juice, water and soft drinks. We were able to watch a couple of humpback whales jumping and a huge turtle too! Definitely recommend! 5/5 They offer a variety of sailing hours and adhered to Covid regulations, make sure to take a look at their website : (maitaicatamaran.net) were you can print out waivers needed for a quick check in.

We have been taking their boat rides for 5 years now and cannot say enough about them! It started as a one time trip during our week here but we are now up to 3 during the week. The crew is always fun and knowledgeable about what’s going on as well. Shoot-Kiah is like a human encyclopedia (along with bartender/comedian etc). Dustin has been our captain a number of times over the years and is always fun and knowledgeable as well. This year we hit the trifecta on two trips-we saw whales, sea turtles and dolphins.

The Mai Tai crew was beyond professional and friendly. Stephanie, Ian, and Ryan went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable on the boat. I definitely recommend the house special -- a Mai Tai cocktail for $5. (Beer for $3 if that's more your style). Would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for a relaxing way to get on the water.

The sunset Maitai cruise was one of the most fun things we did in Hawaii. A beautiful night, relaxed friendly crew, and Maitais flowing, all included in the very reasonable cost. Book in advance so you don't miss this!
