This is such a stunning spot in Waikiki. Beautiful park and beautiful beach. Bit less busy than the other end of the beach but just as lovely. Visited the army museum which the kids loved. Walk up to Henrys on Beachwalk for a sorbet.

A huge park right next to the beach. So many beautiful trees, flowers, plants, and beautifully kept up. Families come there to picnic, play Frisbee, volleyball, etc.

Great for exercising jogs (& dogs), long walks, near beaches to cool off - good location. Walking distance from most Waikiki locations.

US army museum is FREE ENTRY. Take the #8 Bus from Waikiki. Seems to be staffed by dedicated volunteers.

What a great place this is! Full of history and relics. Just loved it. Well managed and put together; very respectful of the people who served in the wars.

What an outstanding location for a park, in the middle of Waikiki. This Fort DeRussey is the R & R location for the armed services on vacation. Hotel and parks are very nice.

The beach services at Ft. DeRussy were the cheapest we found along the beach. Many places charge $70+ for 2 chairs and umbrellas. Here you could rent for shorter periods of time and still beat the other high prices. The general public can rent, but...More

What can one say about all the flowers and pristine condition of this waterfront park. Great views and I didn't think the beaches were as crowded here as other walks along the shore.

This museum is very small with a ground level of replica artifacts and a section devoted to natives who served during WW2. The admission is free and the grounds are maintained well. There is a helicopter on top while the light tanks are in the...More
