Finally "used up" my very expensive gift certificate....this facial was a waste...felt like she just kept massaging my face with some kind of oil....I asked if I was having a facial or a massage...felt like a massage...where are the masks and other treatments?? Never again! The girl was nice enough, but I wanted a Facial!!

I would not recommend this spa. it is the worst spa experience i've ever had. i scheduled a shiatsu, but was given a deep tissue...then charged for a deep tissue, which was $10 more. Management refused to acknowledge their mistake, even after the receptionist apologized for the mistake. When I looked on the website, an extra $10 was not listed for the shiatsu price. A week after emailing the manager, Nicole Santiago, I noticed that the price was corrected on the website. I was not given an apology or a refund. And I was given a lame excuse that I signed the liability waiver, so the manager suggested that was not entitled to a refund. ??? My friend also came with me and received a horrible facial. She was left in the room by herself more half of the time, and came out with oil in her hair and bits of mask still on her face. Again, no apology from the manager. Would not recommend. So just a recap - disgusting customer service, horrible treatment quality, and obviously they have no personal morals (Because the obvious & easiest thing to do would be to acknowledge the problem & apologize).

Afetr trying every spa on the island (and most of the mainland) I found Ampy's. As soon as I came in, I was greeted warmly, as if they had known me forever. My facialist was professional, knowledgeable and turned my skin from "dull to dewy" and a matter of minutes. I was then taken into a lovely sauna scented with eucalyptus and finished my day with a 90 minute lomi lomi massage. The staff was so friendly! If you have a chance, run, don't walk. Do not miss this fabulous day spa.

WARNING: THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. DO NOT GO. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
I only went because I received a $200 gift card for my birthday, which I misplaced due to moving and all that. So, when I finally found it, almost a year later, I call to make appointments on the weekends because I was working full time. They could not accommodate me because they claimed that "all our Sat appointments are already fully booked" for weeks out. I told them I have a gift card that is about to expire and they assure me that it will be fine.
Finally able to book 2 pedicure appointments for me and a girlfriend and again, over the phone, was assured that the gift card (expired by a few months now) will be honored.
On the day of the appointment, we arrived a little late (like 5 mins) due to traffic and were told by the owner, a very stern and rude older woman that the 5 minutes will be deducted from our treatment time. *First red flag* She was very rude and has an attitude problem.
Since there are 2 of us and only one lady who was doing the pedicure, I had to wait while my friend got her pedicure. Sure enough, they deducted the 5 min from her service. It was like, wham, bam, thank you mam. Whatever.
At which point, dragon lady (owner) came and asked us how we are going to pay. I handed her the gift card and she told me that it was already expired. I told her that I've been trying to book the appointments for months but was told that all the weekend appointments (the only time I could come) was all full. And even when I made this appointment, I was assured by the receptionist that the card will be honored.
The owner told me that the receptionist is a "part-timer and she doesn't know anything." She refused to honor the gift card - it has a $200 value on it, even after I pointed out that the terms and conditions on the gift card said that after expiry, one will need to pay a small penalty (like a percentage, which I'm willing to pay). She said that the terms of services have changed and that the state of Hawaii doesn't allow her to charge for expired gift cards now. So, she just won't honor it. WTF. It was a major nightmare.
Not only was she RUDE, she was also CONDESCENDING and treated me and my friend as if we were idiots. Totally not worth the time and effort. Save your $$$. There are wayyyy better spas out there. The pedicure isn't that great and the service sucks.
AGAIN, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED..... DO NOT GO THERE!!!

After frequenting many spas across the United States, Ampy's Spa is by far the WORST place for a massage and facial. The manager's customer service is horrible and treatments are not given as explained on their website. I have experienced false advertisements and overcharge for services not provided from this business.

Their service is simply awful!!! I tried obtaining a weekend reservation and was placed on a waitlist. Anyway, late Thurs, a received a voicemail saying they've cancellations and I am able to obtain the time I need. I called back within 5 mins and left a message giving them the approximate window of 4 hrs and to just "book me in whatever opening". I called to confirm Frid morning but was told they're completely booked and will have to wait for another 2 months!!! The receptionist was awfully rude and the manager wasn't much better either. I was given a gift cert to Ampy's and I'm more than willing to waste it.

Ampy's Day Spa in Honolulu, Hawaii is one of the best day spas I have ever experienced. The facials, the massages, and the staff are the best. Whatever you need, the staff will ensure that your relaxation experience is one you won't forget.

After flying in from LA in the morning I was so exhausted and in need of pampering. The concierge suggested that I try Ampy's, a local day spa. I walked in and they were so sweet! They squeezed me in and I had an amazing facial and massage. Thank you for taking care of me!

My husband treated me to a day of pampering for my birthday and it was just what I needed. I had some kind of organic facial and all I wanted to do was eat everything it smelled so good :) Great massage and my fingers and toes looked fabulous as well. Loved my day.
