I was hesitant to book the trip. However, the 20% discount sold me to buy the trip. We were family of three and enjoyed it very much. We booked the snorkeling and sail trip, I enjoyed the snorkeling part of it but had a blast on sail trip as well. After the trip, I tried to rebook the sunset trip but it was sold out. If i am ever back in the Waikiki, i would do this trip 10 times over at this price point.
The sales crew at the outrigger was great... however, the sails crew was A+++, i would not hesitate to recommend this crew to anyone,

We booked this catamaran towards the end of our trip; it did not disappoint! They were running a special at the time of booking, so for $76 p/person we were treated to an hour of snorkeling with turtles (we saw over 10!), and then another hour or so sailing where we saw dolphins AND whales. Non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks were available for purchase after snorkeling. Oh, Kyle and the crew were awesome! So fun to be on board with a group of passionate individuals who love what they do. Would definitely book again on our next trip!

Our experience with Holokai Catamaran was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we set sail, we were treated to a wonderful voyage filled with breathtaking sights and unforgettable moments. The snorkeling was a highlight of our trip; we had the incredible opportunity to swim alongside majestic sea turtles and vibrant tropical fish.
To our delight, we even spotted a rare monk seal, which was the cherry on top of an already amazing day! The crew was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe throughout the journey.
If you're looking for an adventure on the water that combines sailing and snorkeling in a stunning setting, I highly recommend Holokai Catamaran. It was an experience we will cherish forever!

We had a blast! The boat was gorgeous and clean (loved the no sand/shoes off approach), the staff was friendly and had a sense of humor/adventure and the equipment was clean and in good working condition. I felt safe the whole time. The snorkel guide in the water was attentive, knowledgeable and she was really good at keeping track of people in the water. We also LOVED sitting up on the net, taking in the sights! And we got to see humpback whales! Overall a super awesome experience.

I was hosting a Kpop girl group that was performing in Hawaii and they wanted to experience something that they’d always remember. We booked a tour with Holokai and it ended up being an experience we all will never forget. The crew was awesome and the views were breathtaking. We were also fortunate enough to see turtles and a pod of dolphins!!

My 3 friends and I joined the sunset cruise and it was worth it. Our price was around 90 dollars each and we received an open bar, including the Holokai hooch cocktail and beautiful views. The staff were extremely helpful as we rushed to our boarding time. I would sail with this company again.

We chose the Holokai Catamaran Sunset Cruise because it was located at our hotel in Waikiki, the Outrigger Reef. I will say it was absolutely one of the happiest experiences of our entire Oahu vacation. There is nothing quite like sailing out on the open water while watching a glorious sunset. The salt sea breeze, the music playing in the background and a drink in your hand do much to shake off the stresses of everyday living and to make you feel as if life, even for a short while, is full of magic and is truly wonderful. We will absolutely comeback and do this again in the future. Thank you to the entire Holokai team and onboard crew!!!

We booked the tour through the Halekulani Hotel. I initially misunderstood the check-in time, thinking it was 30 minutes later, but the staff kindly called me to clarify the correct meeting time and gave precise directions to the meeting place. Thanks to her help, I arrived on time and thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

This tour and company was amazing! They were punctual and professional and the boat was clean and ready for our excursion. The crew was amazing and made our time on the water memorable! Mina, Chase, Abbey , Kevin and Kayla Rock! They were all about us having a great time, seeing what we wanted to see and staying safe while snorkeling on some rougher waters. They were super kind to a couple of people in our group that became queasy. This trip with Holokai was a great part of our vacation with friends and colleagues. We highly recommend!

My wife and I are octogenarians. We went on a sunset cruise with a bunch of people in their twenties, and a couple young children. One of the women was celebrating her birthday. We sang to her, shouted, hooted, and hollered and had a terrific time. The views of Honolulu and Diamond Head were beautiful from the water.

Aloha Mariana, Yes! Toddlers are welcome to join us for the sunset cruise! It's a wonderful time for couples, families, and individuals alike! However, we do keep our Friday Sunset Sail to 21+ to make sure the adults have some time to themselves if they prefer! Mahalo

We do have a restroom on board for guests to use. There is not a shower available on the catamaran, but there is a shower just on the beach after returning from the sail and a restroom just inside the hotel you may use for changing if needed.

I believe you can book the whole catamaran if you do it far enough in advance. I do not know how much it will cost. I estimate that the catamaran fits 25 people.

The weather was mid-seventies when we were there the 2nd week of Feb. this year. We never hesitated getting in the water, is was a lot warmer than back home here, - the water temp was beautiful!! I wish i was there right now!!

Each day can be different when your dealing with ocean currents. Check the weather and wave patterns before the trip. And check with the catamaran company. They are not going to go out if unsafe. But hey, waves and swell can be fun too! Its hard when your days are limited. We booked the day before and got a spot.

The cruise I went on was a booze cruise. I wouldn't suggest bringing young children to the all-you-can-drink cruise, but another would would be nice!
