I had read some negative reviews on this luau, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. We actually enjoyed it quite a bit, and we also really enjoyed the food. Last year we went to the luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center, and I liked...More

Some aspects of the night didn't appeal particularly the seating. We were a couple but seated between two largish groups and ignored the entire night. Food was okay but could have been better but the dancers made up for any short comings. They were phenominal....More

This was our 2nd luau and if I had to do it all over again I wouldn't of paid $322 for 2 adults it just wasn't worth it. The food was just ok, nothing at all special. We weren't even first in line at the...More

This is my third luau and by far the worst. The food was not bad, but seemed a little old. The performance was great. I didn’t like the rooftop idea. With the beautiful lagoon the Hilton has they should move it to the beach. $50...More

Definitely worth paying extra for Diamond Premiere tix. Seated next to stage. Excellent show. The dancers were phenomenal with extremely physical dances. The story line of the show was about the indigenous people and was beautiful. The buffet was ok. Heavy on salads. Delicious fresh...More

I recommend this show to get a sense of the Hawaiiwan culture but set your expectations low on the food. The importing thing to keep in mind is to get there at 5PM to get your seats at the table, sections are reserved based on...More

The luau is not held on the rooftop on Fridays. Instead, there is something held on the lawn adjacent to the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon. Not sure about the view from there.

The tickets that you are referring to could be the one that are given as an incentive to view the Hilton Grand Vacation. This would be your choice and could be what you have heard about.
