Best Of Pearl Harbor: The Complete Small Group Tour Experience

This is a small group tour. Max 12 guests.

Calling all WWII history fans! Pearl Harbor Tours’ most comprehensive day tour of the Park allows you to experience and explore! It’s almost like turning back the clock to that very day. You’ll visit the USS Arizona Memorial, the world-famous stark-white structure that straddles the great battleship. On the first day of the war, it suffered catastrophic damage, becoming a tomb for many.

Also on this tour, you will get the opportunity to see the USS Battleship Missouri and the very spot where the Surrender Documents were signed to mark the end of WWII. Then we’re off to the Bowfin Submarine and the always amazing Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum. Planes of all ages, types, and sizes are here, as well as several bullet holes from the Dec. 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. It was this single attack, on American soil, that rallied the people behind FDR and brought the US into WWII… where we would face America’s greatest challenge to date.

The tour guide Fu'a was at airport waiting and got the ball rolling right away. We really enjoyed the Arizona Memorial and the USS Missouri. Then on to the Polynesian Cultural Center where we had lunch at Pounders .I must say I had the most delicious boneless short ribs and jackfruit. The cultural center had many great shows. We especially liked KAP . We stopped at a macadamia nut farm. Then drove up to Sunset beach and then the North point .Fu'a was the most personable ,pleasant, and accomodating guide we have ever dealt with in all our travels. After a quick stop at the Dole plantation we were off to the airport to return to Maui. This is the best decision we made to take a private tour. Thanks again to Pearl Harbor tours and especially Fu'a for making our trip so memorable.

Visited Pearl Harbor. It is hallowed ground, with a much deserved reverence and respect for those who lost their lives on that December day in 1941. My husband and I enjoyed the history we learned that day. It is a beautiful site and worth every penny. It is not everyday that you can walk in the steps of history.

Going car-free on our Honolulu trip for a week, this was a great way to combine a Pearl visit and the USS Missouri into one trip, from a bus ride directly from a nearby hotel. We were actually far more impressed with the Missouri part of the tour, as you can basically walk around the historic ship on your own with plenty of time to do it. (About one-quarter of the ship is open to sightseeing). Highly recommend it!

Based the rest of activities around this one. Might as well have gone on own. Basically picked up and dropped off with time limitations. No guided tour. On your own. Sketchy at best

Response from tourpearlharbor, Manager at Pearl Harbor Tours

If you can prove to me that you were on this tour with our company then we will personally issue you a full refund. If you were on the Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation and Polynesian Cultural Center Tour please list your booking reference number and I will email or call you, I think you might have us mixed up with another tour. The Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation and Polynesian Cultural Center Tour is a 10-hour tour, you would have been with the same guide for 10 hours. Tour schedule would work out as follows, about 2 hours at Pearl Harbor, 2 hours from Pearl Harbor to Dole Plantation, North Shore of Oahu and to the Polynesian Cultural Center with lunch at the Pounders Restaurant at the Polynesian Center followed by a guided tour of the Polynesian Cultural Center for about 2-3 hours and return back to your Waikiki Hotel or the Honolulu Airport. All together about 10 hours. If your reffering to touring the Pearl Harbor portion on your own that is correct, the National Parks have a strict rule that all tour companies have to adhere to, tour companies are not allowed to escort their guest through Pearl Harbor, we can give an orientation, give out the movie tickets and tour times and let the guest visit Pearl Harbor (90 minutes to 2 hours on own) on their own. My understanding is the National Parks do not want the tour guides to talk over each other at each of the displays, so we are only allowed to give an orientation and meet up with our guest once they are done. Our tours only take 12 guest or less and we pride ourserlves on giving our guest a great tour. If you did not feel you did not get the guided tour on the way to Pearl Harbor, to the Dole Plantation and tour out to the Polynesian Cultural Center and touring of the Polynesian Center and back to your hotel, then you certainly should be receiving a full refund. You can respond to me here, my phone number is 808-741-4441 or you can email me at moa@pearlharbortours.com. We take your reviews seriously and we want to make this right with you if you were on our tour. Thank you, Moa Mahe. PS. if you were to Uber this 10-hour tour, it would be more expensive then the tour we offer.
