I visited the aquarium while just killing time around the island. Adult fee is $12. It was really small and compacted. I thought being in Hawaii they would have had much more to offer. The exhibits may interest more so families with small children. As...More

Very nice aquarium. Better than the one we went to on the Norwegian Cruise excursion. From yellow tang fish to octopus and jelly fish. Their collection of seahorses was very interesting and the sea lion was fun to watch.

This place is fantastic for small children. It has lots of interesting aquatic life but isn’t so big that the four and one year old get overwhelmed. We usually walk the mile and a half (from our hotel) to the aquarium then take a taxi...More

This aquarium focuses on reef fish and corals so it's not large but the prices reflect this so no one is going to be disappointed. There are two seals in an outdoor enclosure which is short on space but they appear engaged and happy so...More

Easy to get there from Weikiki. Very smalll aquarium with mostly small exhibits. It’s a clean, family friendly location with an accommodating staff and small gift shop. It’s a quick trip through. Good spot if you’re tired of shopping or if it’s raining or want...More

First, confession - I really like aquariums and am predisposed to the positive unless they do a really poor job. That said, I really enjoyed this aquarium and it provides a great respite from the wall-to-wall people that central Waikiki can be. It's very close...More

Enjoyed visiting and seeing a whole range of colorful fish. Staff were friendly and professional and the aquarium was easy to access. Had one Zebra Shark which I'd never seen before, but thought it could have had more sharks or maybe some manta or stingrays....More

This aquarium may be small (as per other reviews) but was well worth it. Some lovely displays of local fish, etc. Amazing little seahorses and the jellies! Wow! Beautifully done. The only negative is that sadly people are not reading the write-ups on the displays...More

The Waikiki Aquarium is super small. You can definitely walk through the whole place within an hour. I guess that’s the silver lining - you won’t have to spend the entire day walking around, which is exhausting for me already, let alone for little kids....More

I would not recommend this for adults!! Waste of money. There was just a few fish and jelly fish. We were expecting a lot more than what a pet store would probably offer.

No sea turtles at Waikiki Aquarium. We did do the turtle tour with Holokai Catamaran, highly recommended and not overly expensive.
