After visiting Pearl Harbor the tour bus I was on made a stop here. We weren't allowed to get out and look around but just driving through gives you a deep respect for the people that gave their lives for out country

Working in Honolulu for the week, I took every opportunity to tour and pay honor to my Father and his best friend (growing up, I always thought he was my UNCLE Jack) who both served in World War II – Dad in Europe and Jack...More

After touring Pearl Harbor, our package including touring this National Memorial Cemetery as well as a city tour. We have taken this tour three times and highly recommend it. It is a beautiful place and should be visited by everyone touring Hawaii.

We went on a tour and the guide was very informative. We couldn't get out of the bus because the next day was Ernie Pyle's anniversary and they were preparing for a ceremony honoring him. I had learned that in the past the graves were...More

This is really more of a museum than a cemetery and highly recommended. In the Punchbowl Crater, the view out onto the city is great and the actual cemetery is so beautiful with the flat stones and huge memorial to the fallen and missing soldiers...More

For a cemetery, it was very nice. The area is well kept and attractive. We had a great tour guide and learned all about the area. It is nice that people care enough to ensure those that are laid to rest there are respected.

I think this is the Punch Bowl. Walking through the cemetery and reading all of the names. (There are far more than one can take in in an afternoon) The mosaic tiles on the wall, from WWI through Vietnam (I think) so interesting and one...More

The sweeping lawns of this cemetery are just beautiful. Our guide had so much information on the people buried at the cemetery as well as information on all the different religions who have sections in the cemetery. I know a cemetery is not really a...More

The bus from our Pearl Harbor tour drove through the cemetery of the Pacific. Beautiful view of downtown Honolulu and the Diamond Head crater from the drive up to the park. Wish we could have stopped and spent a short amount of time there.

I have seen tour busses there, personally I feel renting a car and driving up to the punch bowl (National Cemetery) on your own is a much better option. You get the feel of the land much better that way. Take as much time as... More

There are numerous flower shops that are right down the road in Chinatown that has beautiful flower arrangements. Safeway is also down the street at the corner of King and Pali. Nothing is sold on site.
