My wife and I caught the first set of Average White Band on a Thursday evening, preferred seating (open seating area first come first served). We got there about 15 minutes after the doors opened but didn’t have problems finding good seats (the venue was...More

Researching some jazz/live music before our trip to Honolulu, and found Blue Note. We went along for the Hawaii Music Showcase and what a great evening. I loved the Blue Note - what a great venue and a surprising find. We would put it up...More

Blue Note doors open at 5 PM for a single act (vice 6 PM) so you can go inside the velvet curtains to find a table or booth in your seating area. There are tables right against the stage if you'd like to sit there....More

We had a great evening!! The place is cozy and we are very close to the stage. You can order food and drinks. The band was very good and generous. Not too expensive for the night.

We went to a random show here last night. Actually (no offense meant to those who adore distinctly Hawaiin music), we chose this concert because the singer, Keahi Conjugacion, while a local, sang jazz. And, what an evening it was. The crowd was disappointing to...More

Best venue to watch local talent. Tonight, we saw Kimie Miner and she was absolutely a fabulous singer. She puts on a great show and we totally enjoyed. So, if you’re in Waikiki, check out who’s performing and watch a show.

Smart casual everywhere in Hawaii after 6. Light slacks and open neck shirt is all you need to pack for men and same for the ladies with possibly a light cocktail dress for a really special night out.
