I've wanted to visit for years and it was great! We had a group of 5 including me, and our docent (guide) gave us all kinds of great information. Standing in the same home as the original missionaries was quite incredible, and hearing their stories was also unforgettable.

We visited this museum after the Iolani Palace. It is a real gem and really improves your understanding of the time when Hawaiians culture so rapidly changed. Rosie was a most excellent docent.

We greatly enjoyed our tour of the Mission Houses with staff historian Mike yesterday. Mike gave us an incredible amount in our hour-long tour. If you're touring Iolani Palace, leave enough time to schedule a tour of the Mission Houses. All of our party recommend it.
