Visiting Pearl Harbor is a must, but beware the utterly confusing (if not misleading and contradictory) information on the government website. If this website is the best our tax dollars can buy....You need to allow 1-2 hours for each of the four major attractions - the Arizona, the Missouri, the Bowfin, and the museum. Visiting each costs money and the... More

Entry to the whole complex is FREE. To visit the USS Arizona Memorial site is FREE - this includes watching a short movie about the day the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and a boat ride out to the memorial site. However, this is a very popular destination, so if you want to make sure you get onto a USS Arizona... More

Impossible to detail the moving wonders of these exhibits. USS Missouri and USS Arizona both tear-induring in their own way. Everything worth seeing for the thoughtful and appreciative visitor.

We booked a tour with Roberts Bus's some people might think that it is expensive we thought it was worth every cent what made it was the commentary from our driver from the Hyatt Regency in Waikiki To Pearl Harbour. To walk on the memorial and see the Arizona with the talk the experience was spine to tingling (Sad) all... More

Current international relations between USA and Japan seem to have had a tempering effect on how this key piece of history is presented. The result may be neatly balanced to avoid causing upset. The result is more matter of fact than chilling, and while one feels the full force of the place as a memorial it did not feel sombre... More

This tour was included in our special holiday package, so I was not really expecting too much, but having done it, I would highly recommend it to everyone. I found myself unexpectedly emotional, especially after watching the video. The whole area has been set out well, and going over to the USS Arizona was very special. Everyone should visit here... A very touching and thoughtful tribute. Well laid out and educational. A must do when in the area. Many opportunities here to check out some significant history.

Three generations of our family took this tour in conjunction with a visit to the battleship Missouri. All enjoyed it despite it being somewhat sombre. It was also a timely reminder of man's inhumanity to man.

After so many years people still speak in hushed tones. That reminds me of the respect I need to hold as to why I came here. That sense of reverence is necessary for us to better comprehend who we are and where we are going as a nation

We weren't interested in the museum part, but we enjoyed the 15-minute video and ferry ride over to the USS Arizona Memorial, which was very moving. The only negative was that tickets sold out quickly if you didn't wait in line early in the morning. The experience was nice, but I am not sure I would go again after having... More
