This was the highlight of our trip. Take the boat to the Memorial and you will be touched by the history of it all. The fact that many of the survivors of the attack chose to be buried underwater in the hull of the ship was the most touching thing of all.

Do yourself a favour and get a taxi from your hotel early. Don't go by bus or shuttle. Leave the hotel about 6.15am and get there before 1000s of others. Thank me later. There is a limit on the amount of people that go by boat to the Arizona Monument every day. Even if you get a ticket early enough... More

Best thing is if your going, reserve you tickets thru recreation.gov the tickets are free and there is a small $6 reservation fee. It includes a 25 minute movie about the attack and then a boat ride to the memorial. A must see if your an American and are visiting Oahu.

Aside from seeing the USS Arizona Memorial, the opportunity to explore Pearl Harbor and the historical exhibits was great. The exhibits were very informative and easy to read, and are great for people of all ages interested in the history of World War II, as well as the events leading up to it. You can also see some really cool... More

Visited this and the Submarine museum in conjunction with the Arizona Memorial. I would recommend seeing these in the morning and finishing with the trip to the Arizona at the end.

We had always wanted to go to Pearl Harbour. It was very moving. We went as part of a tour group. Only trouble with that is you don't get enough time to see everything. We were in line before 7 AM, got through the door shortly afterward and went around looking at the various memorial points on the grounds. We... More

The memorial is very beautiful. I get emotional everytime i step foot in here. They make you watch a video before you go and a boat will take you to the memorial itself from the park. Tickets are available for reservations but most of them are booked months in advance. If you come early there's a possibility of being able... More
