A must thing to do in Hawaii

Shouldn't miss it! Lots of stories and history. It also take some time to look around, so sunglasses and sun block are necessary items. Needless to say about how much I enjoyed.

This was my fourth time to Pearl Harbor, but there were others in my party who had never been and it's very important to see, especially if you've ever visited the WWII museum in New Orleans and/or the WWII sights in Europe. Even the four children in my party, ages 10 through 14, were moved and instead of getting flashy... More

The Park Service does a wonderful job telling the entire story of this event in history. Beautiful memorial to the USS Arizona. Really cool to go inside the USS Bowfin submarine. The exhibit galleries were very informative. I could have spent another hour longer reading all the information. I found it fascinating to learn about the Japanese vessels that brought... More

well organised for a lot of visitors and it gets a lot! You can spend the day or visit specifics but the Arizona memorial film and visit is a must. Several ways to get tickets - I suggest you google for best ways if not going on an organised tour. Easy to get to by bus, taxi or tour bus.... More

We purchased our tickets before leaving on our trip to hawaii. The history associated with the attack is well documented and very interesting. it seems though all other attractions i.e. USS bowfin, USS Missouri were additional cost. It leaves a lot to the imagination as one wonders what if they did not discount the incoming planes as american how history... More

This was one of the best historical sites I've visited in the world. Short, informative and rich with emotion. Getting tickets is hard work. There are a few options; Phone at 7am the day before ($1.50 service charge only - tickets are free) , book online well in advance of your trip like I'm talking 4 weeks(also $1.50 service charge... Spent a whole day doing the Pearl Harbor tour. First was a visit to the USS Arizona memorial. A moving experience knowing that the ship contains so many souls. The ship is still referred to as an active war ship because the sailors are still on board. Present this day was a surviving sailor who had been at Pearl Harbour... More

My daughter and myself visited Pearl Harbour specifically to see USS Arizona. After viewing the excellent film prior to viewing we were told the "bad news". The navy has decided it is too windy for the boat to dock at the Memorial site so we will just sail around it so you can view. What a complete waste of time.... More
