Our afternoon with Kelly was excellent. He combined the perfect itinerary that included, history, nature, culture and food stops where we tasted the best of the best of local food.
The ride was a combination of city streets, neighborhoods and trails. Kelly kept us together with a wireless audio system that each of us had on the handle bars of our bikes. We all knew where to steer our bikes in the safest way. It was great and we’ll definitely book Kelly again!

Second tour and can wait to go back for a third. Kelly is a wonderful guide and tour expert. Our first experience was the the foodie tour (definitely a must do). We did a private bike ride with Kelly to Moana Falls. Learning wonderful history and seeing lots of "off the beaten track" sights of Oahu. Kelly even lends a helping hand when you can not quite make it up that hill!
You will get to stoop for a snack or a meal and probably some type of treat. Bike Tour Hawaii will introduce you to places you have not visited, or foods you have not had before.
Remember when you book this is usually a full morning and/or afternoon. Worth every penny. Thank you Kelly and the video is amazing!

Kelly (the guide) was great from booking through to tour. The E-Bikes were super easy to get used to, very clean and well maintained and the comms system worked really well. The bottle of cold water and snack bar were also a nice touch. Kelly was knowledgeable and personable both during the bike part and the hike. Not much rain meant the Manoa Falls were more of a trickle but still a lovely hike! Kelly took loads of photos throughout and shared them all with us without any cost (unlike most tours). We had a lovely stop for refreshments on the way back to the hotel which rounded off a great tour. I would definitely recommend a bike tour with Kelly at Bike Tour Hawaii.

Was mildly disappointed with this tour. The trip is not as advertised. To start, the tour guide was late and we did not begin the tour until 7:45 (supposed to start at 7am). Certain things advertised are not done such as, the hidden green sand beach (which you don’t get to go in), the WWI memorial is closed and has been for decades (where as it states inclusion of trip is the entry admission fee for this site). Also we did not receive our dole whip ice cream and be warned “healthy lunch” means 1 taco each and a side of fries split between 6 people. The bike ride also is not 9-12 miles, based off of multiple Apple watches it was about 5 miles.
On the other hand, Kelly was very informative, personable, took a lot of group photos and put together a video compilation of the trip which was greatly appreciated. All in all a good trip however, poorly advertised.

We have addressed this issue with the description, title and copy with trip advisor as they control this with there Copywrite experts. We spent 5.5+ hours with our fabulous guide, Kelly, getting a scenic bike tour of neighborhoods that we wouldn't otherwise have experienced and eating LOTS of great local food. Kelly was super knowledgeable about the area, the food, the history, and the current events impacting Oahu and Hawai'i. He had no problem with adapting the food orders to my dietary restrictions (pescatarian, allium allergy). My spouse and I had a wonderful afternoon and actually had to request to share some of the items at the last few stops because the food portions were so generous and plentiful! I would highly recommend this tour, and we'll likely look at other tours with Bike Tour Hawai'i the next time we visit since we had such a great experience.

Kelly was great...very informative. Enjoyed talking to him about the island and he gave advice on things to do and places to eat. It was a fun workout with beautiful scenery and stops.

Too many amazing things to say about Kelly & the Foodie Bike Tour. You do NOT need to be an avid biker to take this tour (but also if you are, you will enjoy the ride!). The food choices are all outstanding, and Kelly is an incredible guide and person who has so much knowledge on the food and on Hawaii and landmarks in general. We had so much fun! And the photo slideshow that we received after was incredible – what an awesome above-and-beyond surprise and great way to show our friends & family how incredible our trip was. Stop thinking about it and sign up for this tour right now, you won't regret it!

A four hour round up of Honolulu - and to a certain extent Waikiki. Easy cycling and great commentary as you go via speakers on each individual bike. Kelly is somewhat of a techie and sent us some great photos and a photo video montage of our trip. We had fun,

Wished I had more time in Honolulu to try the list of additional places suggested.
The ride is a comfortable pace and each food tasting is yummy with many little tip bits on ingredients and origin stories. Great to know great food can be had at non-Waikiki prices.
Kelly our guide is great; the you tube video was a great reminder of the experience that I can shared with family and friends.

I am interested in this tour but I do not do much in the way of bike riding normally. Is this a tour I would be able to handle as far as hills are concerned?

Hi there. We're looking to book a tour on either Saturday, Sunday or Monday, Jan 20, 21, or 22. Which day would you recommend for having the least traffic and congestion? Other considerations we should know about?

We went on a Monday and it was fine but I think any day really is going to have the same traffic hustle and bustle because it is a tourist area. Kelly the guide does such a good job controlling traffic, etc at intersections you won't notice. There are also a lot of bike lanes.
