Even if you're not a big car buff, there are interesting cars of all types to look at, from a 1960s Peel Trident "bubble car" to a new McLaren.

I very rarely give a negative or poor review, but cannot let this one go. As others have stated the cars are of a high quality, usually 10 to 15 autos on display. It is on the expensive side and you can view all within...More

Right next to Tennis Center this Newport Museum is reasonably priced and displays classic and specialty cars (antiques, racing, one of a kind) on a rotating basis. Worth a visit

Although there are some nice cars here, there are not many. Not very impressed for the cost of admittance.

We may have expected more but felt the museum was small and lacked substance. The cars were great but my kids had trouble seeing into them and we had to keep quite a distance so they followed the rules of “hands off” both the cars...More

We've driven past this museum many times during visits to Newport. This was the first time we ventured in. If you're a car buff, you will love this place and not mind the steep price of admission. If you're just looking for something to do,...More

Beautifully restored old cars. Good IPad info on each one. IF you are into cars, be sure to go. If you are not into cars it will be boring.

Our family happened to come upon this museum while on our way to the Tennis Hall of Fame. It is next door and was a nice break from the heat. It is not the largest display of cars, but there was an interesting variety of...More

This museum consists of maybe 15-20 cars from several private collections, although the actual collections are much larger - the cars are circulated every few months. The cars are very well-preserved and date back to the 1940s, although there are also newer cars on display....More

We enjoyed it, but the €15 admission is a bit pricey, however you can see all the cars on display through the window so you can make your own mind up. I enjoyed it but you would need to be a fan of american muscle...More

Don't know if it is still relevant but the museum is a reasonable walking distance from the Marriott. I would estimate 10-12 blocks, mostly uphill.

There is parking in the lot near the museum. The collection rotates and is relatively small. Our visit was only an hour. It's not cheap, but the cars are in excellent condition.
