We took the 4:30 pm cruise. It was fantastic. The guy who gave the spiel (sorry, forgot his name) was great. He provided a lot of information in a lighthearted and humorous way. Although they offered 2 types of complimentary beverages, you could also purchase beverages, including alcoholic beverages, for a fee. My husband got Dells lemonade with vodka. I got the complimentary coffee-flavored malted milkshake. (They called it something else, but that's what it tasted like to me, and it was delicious.) I like Gansett Cruises the best because the tours are only 90 minutes; that's long enough for us. I think most other cruises offered by competitors are longer. They ask you to arrive 30 minutes before the cruise. You check in and get a 'boarding pass'. We did that, and then went right next door to The Landing and sat at the outside bar. Once we saw that the line to board the boat was about to move, we got in line. Otherwise, we would have been standing in the sun for 20 minutes.
