Captain was safety conscious, and especially mindful of our group of 2 dozen retired folks, some with walkers. He gave history and current happenings of numerous sights around the harbor area. Worthwhile trip. Glad we went.
We took a harbor tour cruise on a Saturday afternoon. I would recommend getting there first to board or you will have to sit on the bottom in the back row and you can barely see anything. We could not hear a single word that...More
This was a "spur of the moment" trip - we booked this harbour tour less than an hour before it departed. The lady selling tickets is delightful, full of stories and knowledge with a dedication to personal service. The "Amazing Grace" is the perfect size...More
Went out today for their 1 hour tour... Informative and entertaining at the same time. The only negatives were the passengers; at least 5 infants (under 1), at least 7 children under 5, all whining, crying or fidgeting. Would have been nice had those families...More
We were happy that the tour is only one hour and only $20.00.The crew is laid back; friendly and helpful. The top deck is best since the tour guide is seated there. The tour guide was informative and at times humorous. We found the tour...More
Enjoyable boat ride. We were late getting there and they held the boat for us, which was considerate. Long walk for elderly from the bus to the boat. The boat ramp was very wobbly and unsafe for those with walkers.
Most annoying was that the tour guide rarely said “look left” or “coming up on your right”, etc, he would just start babbling about random boats and buildings and you have no idea what he’s talking about if your on the lower deck. I imagine...More
This tour will show you the harbor, not the mansions. It is a great way to see the boats that are in the harbor. However, the company offers what I consider a better option. There is a fleet of smaller boats that also go around...More

I'm not sure...however, the door they opened to get on the boat is at the level of the floating dock, although it may be narrower than a wheelchair. You can see the door in the picture on their website towards the back of the boat where the man in white is standing: I'd include the link to the website, but TripAdvisor does not allow links. Google search for "oldport marine services newport ri", then click on "Amazing Grace Harbor Tours". Calling them is the only sure way to know. 401-847-9109. Also, the ramp from the parking lot to the floating dock changes angle with the tides. You would have to be careful there.
