We booked two glassblowing sessions at Thames Glass with our adult children. Shane was an amazing teacher and a lot of fun to work with to create a one of a kind memento of our trip. It was easy to book in advance and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience!! I would highly recommend this activity!

This was on the top of my list of places to see when I booked my trip to RI. We got there early and watched the glass blowing. They even have classes you can take to learn how to blow glass. I have a beautiful fish on my mantle to remember my trip here.

Where else can you blow glass and make your own keepsakes?! More than worth the money, you can make your own souvenirs and have fun doing it! Amanda was great as she took us back and helped us create our pumpkin and Christmas ornament. The process to arrange shipping was effortless. Make your reservations early! In a town with many... We had rented a private home for our family vacation. In between swimming and enjoying kite flying, we decided to try the glass blowing . It was great!! We made ornaments symbolic of our Newport trip! We loved the whole experience! The staff was wonderful. Highly recommend it!

We all chose the ornament glass blowing experience. It was a good balance between how much you get to do vs. the instructor helping. Friendly staff and knowledgeable. Overall we had a great time and the ornaments turned out beautiful.

This was one of first stops in Newport. I had called several weeks in advance to get an afternoon reservation for my 7 year old son to make a glass ornament. They were very pleasant and answered all of my questions. Once we arrived they explained the process and took my son and I into the back to start his... More

I had always wanted to blow glass and got the opportunity at Thames Glass! It was quick and very reasonable, too! George was my instructor and in 15 minutes, with his help, I had blown a beautiful glass ornament. When I returned to the hotel, my husband and his brother were envious, so we made an appointment for them the... More

So glad we took the chance trying to squeeze in a glass-blowing session for my boys, ages 7 1/2 and 9 1/2. They were so kind getting us in before a big group showed up and my kids had a blast! Reservations probably would have been a better idea, but our weekend was being dictated by weather and time of... More

Read about this place online, otherwise I'd never know about it or try to find it. the glassware for sale is beautiful and artistic, though a bit pricey. Each piece and design is nicer than the last. Very difficult time choosing. It is a small shop (one room) so there is no space for shopping on your own. It is... More

Neat shop where you can arrangbe to do your own glass blowing. Watched people make nice things. Also, have a number of things on display that you can purchase.
