Ann is one of the best tour guides I have ever had. Really informative, friendly and happy to answer any questions you might have. The route is well planned and we managed to see most of what Newport has to offer and I should know since I have lived here most of my life!

A great way to visit Newport if you don't have a car. It allows you to see all the main "sightseeing spots" without a map to try to follow. A few hints: as you get on the trolley bus sit on the left had side and toward the back. You will be on the bay side for best views of... More

We enjoyed the tour and the guide was very knowledgeable. I don't recommend going in August. I think it was over 100 degrees inside the trolley and was horrible even with windows open.

The driver was the tour guide and he was very mono-tonal. I slept a bit. Everything was like an audio book, On the left is X" this dates back too X, they made there money selling X. Just no liveliness.

Save your money and drive around by car. Didn't see anything and it was hard to understand the tour guide since he had the microphone right next to his mouth and he kept mumbling. It was hard to see some of the historic mansions and the trolley was very warm and uncomfortable to sit on for 1.5 hours.

We got lucky and were able to get the last two seats on the 1:30 tour. We booked the 3 hour tour which included a stop at The Breakers mansion. Very informative tour of town. Good overview of the history of the area and the highlight points. All in all worthwhile and very enjoyable. Very good if you have limited... More

Been coming back to Newport for many years. Finally took the Viking tour. My husband never sees all the great things I see because he is driving. This was a great tour. Relaxing. Took the 11am tour...guide was very informative. Gave us a lot of information we did not know about the area.

I don't know how many stops they are supposed to make. But he was really accommodating when I asked for as many photo ops that we could make. We enjoyed his humor and he was very informative. I wish I could remember his name...so sorry. One of our better tours.
