Enjoy a breathtaking motor boat tour of Newport Harbor and relive the speed and thrill of the chase of the smuggler boats from the days of Prohibition. Motor yacht Rum Runner II, which was originally built for two New Jersey mobsters to elude the Coast Guard offers the luxury of a classic yacht and intrigue you would imagine of a high-speed bandit motor boat with a history all her own while touring Newport Harbor.

Five girlfriends and I opted for the Lighthouses and Mimosas tour (we booked two days in advance) in mid-July. It was 90+, super humid and crowded in town, but out on the water it was delightful. The crew was down to earth and fun. The seaspray we were treated to when we opened up the engines was a welcome refreshment.... More

Had a great time aboard the Rum Runner II, nice being the water, seeing Newport from that vantage point!

We have been to Newport before & have been on Harbor cruises - this one was the best! The crew was friendly & very knowledgable of Newport & vicinity. The cruise was fully narrated. The yacht was clean and comfortable. The ride was exciting. We first took a tour of Newport harbor and then headed out to the open bay.... More

Boat was a rum runner in the prohibition era and has been nicely restored and outfitted to motor along the coast. Out tour guide was perfect. She grew up in the area and knew everything about each sight. Super enthusiastic and patient with lots of questions.

Friends and I took the East Passage Narrated Tour that runs about 75 minutes. Rum Runner II has a covered but not enclosed seating area, which is comfortable considering that it is a restored 1929 prohibition era boat. There is also an open seating area on the bow. Not knowing anything about this tour, but loving restored wooden boats with... More

We took the 11:30am mimosa Lighthouse cruise. We had a great time, learned alot awesome pics of lighthouses. They also had croissants to snack on, I tried a mimosa, but champagne is not my thing. I found it very relaxing and had a great time. They also have other tours as well. It was really cool riding on a prohibition... More

This is not a marshes tour. This is a booze cruise of Newport. It was an hour long with none stop booze! We had a blast, got to see a beautiful city from the water; all while having tasty drinks.

What a great way to spend 90 min on the water. Historical boat, good tour info and crew. Nora and Mark really made the whole trip entertaining.

Took a morning cruise on the Mimosa cruise and really enjoyed it. Captain and mate were truly informative and fun filled. Would recommend.
