Enjoy a breathtaking motor boat tour of Newport Harbor and relive the speed and thrill of the chase of the smuggler boats from the days of Prohibition. Motor yacht Rum Runner II, which was originally built for two New Jersey mobsters to elude the Coast Guard offers the luxury of a classic yacht and intrigue you would imagine of a high-speed bandit motor boat with a history all her own while touring Newport Harbor.

My mom and I did the mimosa and lighthouse tour. It's a great way to start a day of sightseeing. Our guides were fun and knowledgeable and the mimosas and croissants were abundant. We loved the history of all the lighthouses and the music was great on the boat. They also have soft drinks and water for the young or... More

This tour is perfectly priced! Nora and Mark were very friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Great info on the harbor sights, mansions, and light houses. Highly recommended! Next time, I'll try the longer tour.

Beautiful sights, fun captain, and very reasonably priced in my opinion. Would happily go again-it's that good. Newport is a town with strong ties to the ocean,-this is a great way to experience it.

Super fun, super relaxing 1hr experience cruising around Newport Harbor. There are lots of boat cruise options along the wharf but this is the only mini booze cruise! If you want an educational experience which includes a guide, you are better off with one of the other tours like Amazing Grace. I actually did that cruise the evening before so... More

The rum runner takes you closer to the shore, in between the boats and opens up the engines at times to give you fun cruise around the East Passage. The crew is fun and entertaining and there is a covering to keep you out of the sun if you desire. Highly recommend as a change-up to the sailing tours.

Cruise on an original rum runner boat, the crew very knowledgeable, and made the evening enjoyable. We took the evening rum cruise.

Truly enjoyed our tour of the harbor. Nora was a fantastic hostess and guide. The sites were gorgeous and history informative. Our first trip to Newport (from Chicago, no less) and we are planning our next.

My sister and I had a lovely day to tour Newport RI from the water. We chose the Rum Runner which has a interesting story. A boat like this was used during prohibition to bring booze into Newport for the rich. On our cruise they told the story of the wild parties of the rich during prohibition, which was quite... More

My wife and I read all the reviews and knew the rum runner lighthouse and Mimosa's tour was really great. So we booked it. Sure enough when ready to board we noticed 2 bachelorette parties ready to join us. We had a blast and the 2 parties were great. You have to try this tour. Twin turbo diesels totally cranked... Five girlfriends and I opted for the Lighthouses and Mimosas tour (we booked two days in advance) in mid-July. It was 90+, super humid and crowded in town, but out on the water it was delightful. The crew was down to earth and fun. The seaspray we were treated to when we opened up the engines was a welcome refreshment.... More
