The oldest Irish bar in Newport…. No frills, nothing fancy….good Guinness, draught Smithwick’s and friendly staff …. oh, and a RUSH pinball machine!

My wife and I went here on August 17th. We were just walking around Newport, RI and just decided to walk in. The bartender was young but great with customers...very chill as most people who've spent anytime in Hawaii are. My wife had a Guinness and I had an IPA. The beer was great, the conversation was consistent, and I wish this small, unassuming place the best of luck. It deserves your attention. thanks.--adam

In such a lovely destination such as Newport ?...IA is a good excuse to JUST go thirsty. Nasty...aggressive....seemingly inebrieated staff......some might find the pseudo charm in this. MOST Id imagine...wont.
