A lot to do

There are so many places to visit, during the off season things close by 6, but there are a few things that stay open. There are more places to eat as well.

Spent the afternoon walking Thames. Great place to take in some great food, watch a game or just have a drink. Historic, clean and well done. Gray skating rink near the wharf.

Make sure you walk the entire street. It's a great way to people watch, but also bar hop, maybe grab a quick bite to eat at several spots along the road. Great small business shopping. Nice scenic views.

Nice shopping for locals and visitors. During the Christmas season, shops close at 5 pm, so it's daytime only, but the Christmas lights were gorgeous in town and the restaurants are great.

If you can, stroll leisurely on Thames. Some houses on Thames are museums and open to the public, but it is also interesting to walk along and look at the architecture here and the side streets. There are of course many shops and boutiques along the way, and several restaurants.

Love Thames St. Very cool stores, old houses and landmarks. Bought a few things including popcorn that is sold in every flavor under the sun and delicious.

loved walking the street and checking out the small shops! amazing local flare bleeds into everything! some were a bit overpriced and some seemed to be consumed by "tourism" overall a fun thing to do... get chilly and windy, best on a warm day

I always love visiting the many shops along Thames (pronounced like "James" here) Street. There are quaint little shops with friendly owners/staff and plenty of places to eat and drink, especially Brick Alley Pub. Thames Street is quite long so there's plenty to see, shop, eat.

On any day, warm or cold this is a lovely little walk. You can meander through all the little shops and cafe's along your way. You could spend hours here with all there is to see!
