Gooseberry beach is a treasue for family fun. Its located along Ocean Drive and is in a cove like area that is perfect for young children to enjoy the ocean. I found this beach to be very quiet and relaxing.

Visited in late September so the parking and beach were free. Beautiful beach with soft sand. It is quite secluded so if you go during peak season you will have to pay for parking. We went at 9:30 in the morning so there were only...More

I stopped on a somewhat rainy day but the overcast sky did not change how absolutely beautiful this area is. Every view is good enough for a postcard. Great spot to stop and relax.

You can park along the road to get to this beach. It has gooseberrys all over it hence the name. It is a nice stop to relax.

Nice beach but why so much for parking? Also, while we were there, the water was too full of bacteria for swimming. We went up to Bailey's which is very close, instead.

Visiting with family from out of town. Very rude old man who was working was scowling at us the entire time made for a pretty unpleasant experience. Beach itself was decent.

Gooseberry Beach is the BEST! Still a favorite after 50 years. Wonderful snack stand with the biggest homegrown tomatoes we have ever seen. Beach is pleasant and easy swimming! Enjoy!
