We just enjoyed our 4th Summer visit to Neeport! Gooseberry Beach is our favorite beach The kids love swimming and playing on the beach The afternoon visit to the snack shack is always fun too! See you next Summer’

A really great beach in Newport. This is a private beach club that has limited spaces for non-members every day (i think its 100 spots -- and it costs $20 to park). The sand is great, with lots of kids and great water to swim....More

Just great. Its out of the beaten path. Dont get the big crowds of the public beach. Well worth the 20 bux. Its the only beach we go to when in Newport RI. Good snack bar also.

This was once a lovely jewel of a beach. Now it has sewer waste leaking right into the children’s swimming area, the water is dirty and there are endless piles of rotted seaweed. The smell is impossible to ignore...It used to be clean, low key...More

Gooseberry beach is privately owned by the members but sell limited tickets to non-members of the beach. Buy your season parking passes early or you may be turned away, as parking is limited.

Great beach along Ocean Drive on the way to Castle Hill Inn. It's not a huge beach, but offers great sunset views. Worth a stop to enjoy the views.
