I would refer to this lighthouse as a surprise lighthouse because it does not fit the stereo typical image you have in your head of what a lighthouse would appear to be. It is currently in use as part of a private yacht club it...More

This is a pleasant harborside park on Wellington Ave. It’s mostly just a thin band of grass and trees, leading down to a little beach. At its wider section, there’s a monument to Rochambeau and a gazebo where bands perform in the summertime. It’s a...More

My toddlers loved the swings and slide. I loved the view of the water while pushing the swings. Great walking paths and a beach.

This was a superb spot to sit and enjoy a lunchtime picnic. After eating our sub we strolled along the promenade to the statue of Rochambeau and stopped to admire the stunning vista over the marina towards Pell Bridge.

King Park is a great area to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds along the waterfront. One may take a stroll or simply sit and relax. Great green space. Nice area to watch sailboats as they leave and enter the harbor area.

Lots of open lawn space with a couple of small beaches. Gorgeous views of the water and sailboats, and not at all crowded.
