Very interesting tour. The fort was built to protect the area from land and sea. We also got to see a tall ship that was visiting the area.

Nice area with lots of parking, water taxi access. Great view of the Bay and the fortress that at one time protected the area. Beautiful drive from downtown....beside the water then through some wonderful older homes.

Beautiful and interesting place. Full of history. Visited the Eisenhower House... where the president spent vacations. Gorgeous old house!

Easy to get to, not many people when I went but that's because it was a Thursday. I was able to easily sit in peace watching the many sailboats cruise by.

Pretty cool historical site, worth going during the historical society times 10-4. We went too late and I wished I had more information or a tour. It’s in the middle of renovation.

Our visit coincided with the 2017/18 Volvo round the world race being in Newport. A lovely buzz around Fort Adams resulted.

I am sorry as I do not know. I went before it all started as a friend works for Sail Newport. You might google the Volvo races and see. It is a beautiful sight hope you go.
